I've had this text too, but I'm sure my 24month contract doesn't end until March. Can they actually put monthly prices up when you've signed into a 2year contract for an agreed monthly price?

9th is one hell of a delay considering there site says 22nd. I wonder if they mind reports being 2weeks late?

Orange insists it won't allow customers to leave their contract early as its terms state inflation-linked price rises are allowed, though it is not clear whether this stance would hold up, if challenged....
Orange insists it is within its rights to raise prices, meaning consumers cannot escape their contract early.

It points to its terms and conditions which state it can increase charges by up to the RPI figure in any 12-month period.

I can't believe they are allowed to do that. Really bad decision on their part, like many others I definitely won't be renewing with them now.

I looked and although you can do it from home, you'd need to do loads to make it worthwhile and would be pestered for months afterwards with phone calls and emails.
So, I'm not bothering-I put it on the alert thread tho, someone will take it...

Keep in mind after exchange rates and exchange fees it'd probably convert to pennies...literally.

Not a chance, It will be April before they pay youy anyway. Its not worth the effort of setting up an email etc let alone sending it......they are having a laugh

I reckon for double that fee it would be reasonable - I've clicked through a few as I can easily do it while watching tv and another survey. I'll see what happens and let you know lol
