Quick explanation
When I took out my mortgage I was pointed to a 10 year fixed rate at 4.99%. It was slightly higher than the tracker or variable at the time, and I was swithering, but the person I saw told me that the absolute minimum Nationwide would ever charge was 2.75%. So, on that advice, I took the 10 year fixed etc (This was around 8 years ago).
Now, it seems in 2008, they decided, to be competitive, they had to reduce their mortgage rate under the 2.75%. Currently it is 2.19%
If I had known that, I probably would have gone for a shorter term fixed or another type of mortgage.
I have searched all over the site but can't find any information
Do any of the wonderful experts on here reckon I would have a case for misselling? I've never heard of mortgage misselling though
Would you be able to prove it would be your biggest issueI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

Need a bit of advice regarding the 'Spanish Bank' jobs !.
I opened a savings account with this bank in April so I could do these jobs, and I have done a fair few since then. I only pay in and then take out later. But today when doing one the guy said to me that he could see a old business account I had with them that I closed in 2007 and also a old Current account !.
It suddenly struck me that if he could see that he could also see all the transactions, which would simply be pay in and withdrawals !. I am a bit worried now as I don't want the account closed or reported for fraud !, and am wondering what I could say if they ever queried it, as I don't think being honest would be the best policy in this case.
Has anyone else had a problem with this or I am just worrying over nothing ?.
Thanks.0 -
Quick question about First Tracking - do you have to ring them up to get assignments? There's one I could do on the Available Assignments page, but I would rather not ring as I don't have a landline.0

Had an absolute mare yesterday... travelled to a job couldnt find my paperwork had to go and find a internet cafe to print off. Then drove 40 miles to another job where the town's car parks were shut due to strike action, couldnt find a car park then eventually found a little one off the beaten track, had to jog to the visit to meet the timeframe. left there back to the car, car park is locked. Had to scale a wall to get to the car then wait for someone to leave this took another 30 min. back to my city to do a car showroom. last day of the month. they were on the hard bargain. really wanted me to buy. took just under 90 min in total. b*ggered up my appointments for the next showroom.
Wish i stayed in bed.Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

@Dannydebt You are worrying over nothing....bank accounts are simply used for paying in and withdrawing money so you are using it within the T's and C's there is no fraud.
What I am worried about is doing a trailer check and a cinema ms at the same time or do I leave a couple of hours between the two?:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Worrying for nothing. What is exactly illegal and fraudulent about putting money in your own bank account and then taking it out again? Its your account, its your money, you can do whatever the hell you like with it.0 -

Do you get the emails? I got an email about the latest film a few days ago, you can simply reply to their emails and indicate which cinema you can do and your field rep ID and a contact email/number to reach you on. On the past two occasions, they've simply emailed back to confirm they've allocated it and then you download the paperwork from the website.0 -
Superliss, somedays nothing goes right, but your day sounds absolutely horrendous.0
