What have you achieved that puts you in a position to comment on their business decisions? Squat, I'm guessing.

You probably said the same thing about the 3G and the 3GS.

Really?? you got your hopes up for an all new iPhone 5? did the new phone 2 years ago not give you some sort of expectation? Apple made the 3G, and rather than spend millions on a new body just yet, just improve on the internals then push out a new body next year, like they did when they released the iphone 4.
Apple's attention this year has been on Lion and iCloud, any Apple fan knows that, also iOS5 to support iCloud. All they have done is looked at what Samsung and HTC and Blackberry have done, and made improvements that they believe will enable them to continue to compete.
If you want to see how Apple have succeeded this year, take a look at Lion, iOS5, iCloud, etc etc. If you're still not convinced walk by your local Apple store at 9am next Friday, I'm sure you'll see that the iPhone is certainly not dead...

However I give the late Mr Steve Jobs my admiration, he was an exceptional visionary, especially with respect of what you don't know what you want. Sadly too many iFanboys fail to see/respect (of course the reverse is also true, although to a lesser degree) the rest of the world's opinion, and sadly rise to too much bait. I'll be upgrading my 3GS to the 4S soon so am on the look out for the best deal or most cashback offered if anyone has any links? I don't care that it's not the iPhone5, (and am not an apple fan boy) and just hope they fixed veverything on the 4. FWIW - I don't want voice controlled functions, never have. It's not a new or appealing technology IMO.
