Not sure if this post goes here after the silly price electricals @ tesco thread vanished. Found Tesco's Technika brand 7" twin portable DVD player down from £79.99 down to £50.
I know it's not as good as the £24 version, but next best thing. It is the box with the man on it, not the boy. model no. PDVDTWINSS10
Barcode 5 052004522120 0 -
My cousin went to fa!lsw*rth tes co man chest3r and asked to get price check on 2 cameras, and a rude sa told him she will only sell him one as he has been coming to the store every week just buying electrical items.
When asked for proof was told they have him on video, lolz last few times he went with me and it was just normal food shopping.
He only asked for price check (no scanners in store).
I have been to many stores and had funny looks but nothing like this when asked for price check.
He travels past this store on daily basis and gets his lunch from there all the time.
He was quite upset tonight, I feel like going to the store and buying multiple electrical items from that sa and see what they do.
I don't think staff should have this kind of attitude just for checking prices.
In M!d(d)Lt*n store the tesco employees bought multiple laptop/netbooks right in front of us, when we asked they had all sold out.
Can anyone advice, I dont think I will buy 2 lots of bread might get told off.
Hi sorry I was meant to post this in here electrical thread but instead posted in toy thread.0 -

I think he took this better than I would have done: if everything was priced correctly, you wouldn't have to have a price check in the first place.
I would definitely be emailing CEO's office, explaining what happened and the fact that he shops in the store daily. It's not up to the staff how many of any item they sell unless it is a bulk buying issue then it is usually down to the discretion of the manager not the shopfloor worker!
He needs to email philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com
and explain how he has been treated and that he will take his custom elsewhere.0 -
Anybody still looking for the Tricity Bread Maker, just seen one in my local store O!d Sw@n, Liverpool. Its on the floor at the end of the DVD isle. Sale sticker on stating £81 reduced to £39 but will probably scan at £8 like the others. HTH0

Why do some posters try to justify fraud/seeking to deceive(actively seeking DTD) with unsubstantiated amounts of profit made from overcharges when there could be substantial losses accrued from undercharging/double discounts/glitches. I believe Tesco actually make a lot of their profit from overseas operations
Why do some posters talk about crimes that simply DO NOT exist!
It is NOT fraud and there is no deceit either.
Tesco deliberately make comparing like for like goods difficult with complicated price labelling and frequent price changes. Their training of staff is often poor too, which result often in tardy labelling of items and OOD SEL's. To look for one and take advaantage of it is NOT a crime. YOU may not like the idea of it, but if others do then thats up to them. You have right to try to make people feel like criminals when they are not.0 -

Until a week or two ago I only ever went to St+kt+n extra as that is only 5 mins away but despite efforts to bag some of the bargains early they've either not existed or flown off the shelves(staff or lurkers/vultures?). Did get a few electricals however a few weeks ago. Never seen anyone else post anything about finds this store whilst I've been visiting the grabbit threads on a regular basis and as there are no scanners I've started to go further afield on a couple of occasions, hence references to Co+lby and Ing++by. Which are your main stores?Awaiting a new sig0
