I think it helps if you speak to HO first.
They will log the conversation and give you their name and a reference number - most SAs will happily refund when given this information as it feels like the refund has already been approved and they won't argue with that.
I believe the rule is that they will refund you the reduced amount you should have paid but in practice they often get confused and refund you the higher amount you initially paid.If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

I took something back today and was given a full refund without question despite having had DTD on the original purchase.
It makes no odds to tesco really, they have already paidout DTD on their mistake, if you then take something back for a refund they simply sell it to someone else. You guys do like your drama sometimes! lol
I got an email from HO saying even if you got all your money back on a dtd (or even given extra back) you can still get a refund of the amount you SHOULD HAVE PAID but sometimes they will get it wrong and give the full amount.
Be prepared and grateful to get the reduced amount, if you get more it's a bonus. It helps if the full price comes up on the till.I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

Didn't know where to put this but wanted to let people know, I couldn't find any of the cheap epilators instore so just went on tesco direct and ordered a veet touchably smooth one for £15.99 to try out. I'm having a knee op in 5 weeks so won't be able to get in the bath to shave:o. Also i was wondering about the bottles of spray you get to make it less painful and found someone selling them on ebay for £2.99 delivered for 2 bottles.Smokefree since 27-9-20070

This morning went to the Sw1nd0n store and they were having a huge printer clearout. Lots of inkjets for £1.00-£3.00. Wireless all in ones for £8.00. Managed to grab myself a nice HP photosmart wireless for £10.00.
The only catch was that they came with no leads and no ink but still a bargain0 -
