I've given up asking about netbook/laptop deals. I don't think many reached the customers in my local but very well done. Perhaps now the initial interest has died down is the time to ask. You've inspired me to give it a go! Were they on the shelf at that price or did you have to ask for a specific model/any deals at the desk? TIA

I think it's been the same across the UK with a lot of the deals, customers get whatever the staff don't get to first. I've been to Mr T's at least once a week since the sale started and found something new everytime i've entered the store, so proves there are still bargains to be had. I would definitely give it a go, if you don't come back with anything at least you've tried and it's a massive bonus if you come away with something.

I actually went to get a £199 Acer Aspire 5742 which I had been told by head office was in stock at Br@cknell Homeplus, but when I got there they were baffled and said they had no stock. Luckily the netbooks were just sat on the shelf with the correct SEL of £79. Good luck on your hunt :)

Went on another twin car dvd player hunt last night with no luck :(
Still haven't managed to find ANY electrical deals.

I did however find some of the camping stuff... being keen campers I was quite happy about this. I scanned a campingaz bistro single burner at £1:50, so I went back to have a look what else was around. There was another very obvious bargain hunter, scanning the shelves, looking in all the same places that I was. I spotted him putting some of the camping kitchen double burners in his trolley, so I went over and asked him if they were on a good deal, hoping to open up a dialogue about being an mse'r .... he obviously wasn't up for sharing any info, mumbled something about not being sure of the prices, but that he needed 2 of the stoves, and dashed off to the self scanner. I popped one in my trolley and also went to the scanner... where they showed up as £5.50. Was quite excited and thought I would grab another one for a friend's christmas present, only to find the other guy dashing away from the shelf with the whole lot of them... there were at least 6 or 7 on the shelf when I first saw them. I thought that was pretty greedy, particulary as he knew I was interested in them..... I always knew I had some competition in this particular store from the DTD days, but now I know who you are!!!!!:mad::mad:
i spotted these in my local, so grabbed 2...however i'm gonna take them back ........seduced by them being a bargain, except i dont need them....aarrgghhh
• i keep hoping to find the shelf restocked with the camping stoves. might take a wonder up again today.

If you can find any stock this is going through the tills at 24p - just the shampoo though, not the conditioner.

hi was in glasgow m4ryh1ll today and this was scanning at 99p, cheap but not the 24p boohoo!

They had loads on shelf x

I find this store's usually on the ball and won't let you have a great bargain if they can help it :(
• found the shampoo in the ol**am store loads in there so got 6 thanks to who ever posted :)
• Just to say thanks to OP. And also to alert NI shoppers (if you did not already know) but I managed to buy a canon ixus 105 in my local tesco for £50. Cameras and other electrical items where not reduced in my tesco stores when it was initially posted on this thread. They are now plenty of canon, samsung and panasonic for around £50-70.
HTH any NI tesco shoppers
