Stolen bike

My son's bike was stolen from school last friday, the insurance company sent us a new one today. The school has just rung me saying they have CCTV footage of a boy stealing the bike, and some of my son's friends have seen another boy with the bike. It looks like we'll get the stolen one back, so what happens then? Do we inform the insurance people, or do we get to keep it? (I wish

If and when the stolen bike is returned you have to inform your insurance company as the old bike now belongs to them.

I was surprised too, they asked for photos and the receipt which I was going to scan and e-mail to them, then they rang the next day before I had a chance to send them, saying will you be in on wednesday because the bike is ready to send :jBulletproof0

Our home and contents insurance is with Ecclesiastical
I wasn't until we rang them to claim that we found out they use Wheelies for all bike claims, and if you're a customer you get 20% anything you buy too.Bulletproof0 -
