Would anyone at all be kind enough to give my entry a like on this local comp (local to me in Belfast) It's for shopping vouchers and I would love to win them for Christmas, but am rubbish at asking on Facebook (and never ever ask) :(

Takes about 10 secs - pretty please x

ps - don't shout at me :o I did post it in the referrers section but I may as well post it in the Gobi Desert as no one goes there.....

    Would truly appreciate it x

I voted, mainly because Connswater is my local shopping centre and we could be neighbours.

Also if I didn't vote I didn't want to come to any harm.

Good luck! You can take me for a cuppa if you win!

I went on the comp board the other day for the first time. I've entered a couple, but none of the FB ones though. I can see how it could become addictive though, quite a few of them are useless to me though, like meal for 2 in Plymouth (or something like that!) I don't mind travelling a few miles, but draw the line at 300 odd miles :D
  • hello :D

I have been a comper for now five years. If you go to the right sites, such as the ones that we post on the comping board, they are :D I would steer clear of any ones that are like instant wins... like the pick me up website. I can list a couple of legit ones if u like? :D

I use a separate email address just for competitions as otherwise it doesn't matter how many opt out boxes you tick you get spammed to death. I also avoid giving any details that I don't have to, give a row of zeros for my phone number if I can get away with it, and always use a fake date of birth. And have a fb page just for competitions - and yes I know you're not meant to but I'm not sharing any info that I don't have to.
You probably need to enter lots to win anything decent, but I'm easily pleased and am quite happy with little wins every now and then. Although having said that, my best win so far is the sony vaio laptop I'm currently using.:D
Somewhere on the comps board is a list of sites to avoid, and people are pretty good about checking out the terms and conditions to see how legit things are. Be sensible and most of them are fine.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Well, I've won about £1100 so far in vouchers, plus gig tickets, a charger for phones/games, 5 mascaras, 7 lipglosses/lipsticks, nail varnish, bubble bath, hand cream and several CDs in under a year - and I only enter the things I actually would like to have, rather than entering everything in sight.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
