So it follows that it only needs "several" compers to go on the thread on the Feedback Board saying they want it back and it will come back. Have you done this?

I would have thought this was a fair and democratic consequence too. However, MSE doesn't appear to run that way...
If you look at this thread, one person complained (and did admitedly get one "Thanks,") about a comp I posted EXACTLY as was agreed back in the days of the great Regs debate. Several posted in support, pointing out that it was there legitimately. It was still merged
Realise I'd made a boob linking to the original comp before, but was careful not to do it this week.

Yesterday & so far today I have been unable to get the page to load.
The RD main site is fine, but the log on page for your daily entry at:
http://www.rdprizedraw.co.uk/prizedrawcopy/login.aspx
just brings up the 'cannot display' error message.
Is anyone else getting the same message.
Be lucky.
Robbie.
Ah, you too... Thought it was my phone/rubbish reception yesterday... Haven't tried today yet.
However, they've not been as reliable sending codes this month. Not had them every day...:(Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -

In my defence I do tend to post when I ask for a merge. As on the C4 Sony TV comp I would rather the weekly comps were posted weekly & not just in the regulars, although I am poor at putting links in regs :-(0 -
Who asked for the merge/merges.

No idea...
I did PM Glad to ask for an unmerge as she'd replied to me by PM when I asked why the same comp had been merged the previous week.
She can't unmerge as she didn't merge it.
I must admit I was shocked it was merged again when I'd done everything correctly this time and only 1 person had complained with a wave of support for the post following!
I 've noticed you tend to post who you've asked, and you're not alone in wanting weeklies posted on main. That's why we had that big debate before & it was agreed they could be as long as they didn't link directly to the comp, but back to regs :wall: ! That was working! Obviously I'm more aware of comps I've posted, so can't comment on them all, but I happily posted the Hello one using the same criteria once that decision was done & dusted- until of course, it ended, despite the insistence it was "Ongoing!" :rotfl:And I think I'm pretty good at posting links in regs
, tho' if you remember before, folk stopped when their posts were merged
. Hope that doesn't happen again as there was so much bad feeling
.
Imagine if the Daybreak ones were only posted in regs because they were deemed ongoing ? There'd be an outcry !

Hi,daft question I know but what does the above mean?
It's a good idea that I've copied (When I actually spot a merge that no-one else appears to have sent a request for)
Can be useful to know who's been sent to in case someone else is aware they're away / unable to do their BG thing straight away.
Saves them getting nagged too I guess. I know I always worry I'm nagging & someone else may already have asked when nothing's been said !Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
With this thread
I have posted on the main board every week for the benefit of end date compers & people who don't use regs, which I said I would do in the original thread.
Just found that my posts have been merged for the last 2 weeks.
Now not sure if I should bother posting this week?0 -
Sorry GB,I get it now:-)
Blame my tiredness & nearness to logging off.
It really came about after seeing dupe posts deleted after merge & geting berated for forgetting to pm a request. It's my "little note" to self.0 -
