Oh heck still not put my list up. Just popping on for a quick update.
Back at work tomorrow and Thursday. Looking forward to getting back into a routine. Can't carry on going to bed at all hours of the morning...pity.
Have batch cooked some potato and leek soup. Two for this week and two towards next week . Might make some vegetable soup then I can alternate it. Going to take in a huge brown muffin to go with it. Plus some fruit and crisp for snacks. Also bought a carton of pure orange, will put some in a bottle, dilute and take that too.
Going to have a dip now and get organized for work.
Loving the frugal living thread. I honestly think it will be a Godsend, keeping me on the straight and narrow, well hopefully, for the most part and everyone seems so lovely on there.
So tomorrow back to work and it's my morning for taking the class whilst the teacher has her ppa time. Can't wait to see the little sweetie piesI'm so lucky being in a job that I love. Going to focus a lot more this year on how blessed I am rather than moaning about silly things.
Hope everyone is okay.

All good at work. Lovely to see their little upturned faces when I walked in.
Took my fruit, crisp and soup and muffin like a good girl. Was really tasty too.
Only spent £2.36p today on posting a parcel :j
Couldn't sleep at all last night. OH was at work and I missed having him to snuggle up to. Going to bed very soon with a hot water bottle, cup of tea and a book. Hopefully I'll sleep better tonight. Getting up earlier today will probably help. Can't remember the last time I was in bed before 10pm!
Should have gone to give blood tonight but DD said it wasn't a good idea due to me just getting over that chest infection and thinks it might lower my immune system. Don't know if it would affect that but thought maybe she had a point so didn't go. Will have to re-book it.

Prob best to wait a bit. Last time I went to give blood I was just over a cold but they wouldnt take the chance. Hope tonight is better sleep wise. I struggled last nigh as well and not helped by the blooming car alarm! Im going to head to bed in half an hour.
Well done on spends:j0 -
Thanks KP. Hope you had a good sleep and woke feeling full of va va voom!:)
Still doing well with the spending and DD has drawn up a menu for tomorrow. For the most part they're meals that everyone can have, apart from me. Will have a look after and post it up.
We were very lucky just before Christmas managed to order off Boots online one of those Soap and Glory £60 gift sets that were on offer at boots for £25 plus a £1 back on your advantage card. Picked it up today from Boots and we were amazed what was in it. Comes to over £60 for the products alone (DD checked the prices online, she likes a bargain too. Mind you was a huge bargain for her...I bought it lol) along with a gorgeous pink inner that DD said she'll use for her laundry and a lovely bag that I can keep my knitting/crochet in. Don't think we've ever had a bargain like that before! No wonder they flew out of stock as fast as they did.
Didn't have such a good sleep again last night. At 2am decided I wanted my hot water bottle hotter. So came down and made some tea and toast. DD came down too and had an ovaltine and toast. Had a natter in my room then she went to bed. Went to sleep not too long after. Needless to say this morning was zombified!
Not in work now till Monday so hopefully will catch up on some sleep. Think my body clock is finding it hard to adjust as we were going to bed so so late in the hols! But it was good.
Just had a huge bowl of pasta and was really thirsty so opened a bottle of bud! Feeling very full now
off to bed soon.
Ooh I had a thought today that if I follow the pattern for my wrist warmers but make them a little longer and sew the sides up completely they can be ankle warmers. Sounds good. I'm actually looking forward to trying this.
Off to bed soon
Night Night World ♥

Really struggled the night before last and this mornign wasnt much better. Darn Ashes!
Well done on the spending front. I have fallen off the wagon today but intend to jump back on tomorrow.:j0 -
Don't worry KP. That wagon ain't never going too fast that you can't jump back on (said in cowboy tone lol)
As long as we keep jumping on KP that's the main thing

I think I'm off to bed soon. Still doing well and keeping up with the frugal thread is really helping and very enjoyable to read too
A post brought back a lovely memory from when I was young but of course with happy memories comes some sad ones so feeling a little 'thoughtful' now. I've been doing a bit of knitting and mum was a fabulous knitter as well as dressmaker and of course when I get a bit stuck with my knitting I think mum could have helped with that, then of course sad thoughts happenSuch is life.
Think maybe need a few early nights and that will see me as right as rain

Oi no going AWOL Dizzy!!
Hope all ok and things just busy.:j0 -
Oh my word. It's months since I've written on my diary!
So, hello to anyone who might be reading this but if not that's fine, my ramblings and meanderings are not known for their gripping content
I think it might be a good time to resurrect with Christmas just around the corner...and I'm hoping updating will give me the motivation I've been lacking of recent.
Already bought some simple x stitch christmas kits from hobbycraft to make Christmas cards.
I am in the process of getting back to around 8 stone. I'm 5ft 2in so this is ideal. Almost there, just need to lose another 8lbs. Me and DD are back at Rosemary Conleys otherwise my weight would be going in the opposite direction. Had a weight loss of 2lbs this week. As a vegan I don't half eat a lot of naughty things. And I love bread! I do try to balance it out with lots of salad, nuts and veggies.
I've been going to bed at ridiculous times this Summer, for one reason or another. When I go back to work (off 6 weeks for the Summer holidays) I'm going to have to start going to bed at a reasonable time! That's the plan anyway
I started to declutter the kitchen cupboards which I've been meaning to do for months, but had no motivation. Anyway the other day I started it and I've done loads including a lot of decluttering in there. Now I can open cupboards without ducking the plastic containers!
A bit like 'Don't open that cupboard Selwyn' if anyone remembers that! The rest will be done just a section at a time. Yesterday I sorted and cleaned the cutlery, pan and tea towel drawers.
Also in the process of decorating the loo but I seem to have come to a standstill with that. Need to sandpaper the walls were I've filled in cracks before I can paint though. Not asking OH to help as this was my idea and my little project.
I need to get back to writing weekly food menus and shopping with a purpose.
Being on the frugal living thread helps to keep me in check and its full of the most wonderful supportive peeps. They're great
I'm also thinking about doing something back at college this year. I'm toying with learning spanish, though I did french at school and was rubbish at it, but know more french than spanish, which doesn't say a lot or maybe English Literature, I don't know, we'll see.
Must go and get in the bath before it gets cold.
Tomorrow I aim to do some work on a little butterfly x stitch kit I've started and do a menu and food shop.
Luv Dizzy x
