Hello again...have just posted on your diaries GR and Wendy.
Was back at school Tuesday (had an extra day off pad day)then in for 3 days only, due to me now not working Friday :T So, today is my first Friday off. Been out with OH this morning, and took DS to school. Have got some parcels to post and a bit of pottering about, tidying etc. and that's it. Will be more organised for next Friday as I really want to make the most of the long weekends now.
August challenge was good Wendy thanks, though I did add P&P onto those totals, just added it all up. So for this month I'm just adding the amount sold for. Still not too bad considering it's only the 5th up to now.
It's cold isn't it, and the weather is just rubbish.
Don't think for one moment I'll ger rid of the overdraft by Christmas Wendy but hopefully I'll make a dent in it or at the least I'll keep it down as much as possible. I'm starting to focus on Christmas now and think only 4 more paydays till then. :eek:

A dent is a start Dizzy! :eek: at the four more paydays thought. I am so glad I managed to save that £500 it will come in so handy.

Nice to hear the fridays off have started. I would enjoy the first few and take it easy maybe make a small list of jobs/aims for the day?

Is the £47.99 the Sept figure already? Thats great being only 5 days in.

Hello Wendy Yes the Sept figure is right, hope it continues through the month. Ooh £500 to fall back on for christmas. That's a nice tidy sum. Takes a bit of the pressure off too I bet. Good idea about making a list, will give me something to focus on for the day.
I've decided that Fridays will be a meal around the dining table with tv and computer off. So started as I mean to go on and made a vegan shepherds pie, so we could all have it, though DD said she's told me before she doesn't like it so had to do her something else. Put t-lights on the table, turned everything off and had a lovely meal. Normally Friday tea is eaten wherever anyone is but hopefully we can stick at this. If I'd been working this wouldn't have happened. Had a call from DS as well and he's coming home on Sunday for a few months...to help him save, he said! It'll be lovely to have him home again so feeling happy about that.
Going to settle down for Big Brother now

Hmmmmm...got little red crossed boxes were my smilies used to be...what's going on there then?
Anway just an update. Changed my Sept. challenge to getting the overdraft down a little before Christmas, because there's no way I'll get rid of it all by then.
Can't believe it's been a while since an update, nothing really to update though...:D Let's see if that smilie stays!
Going to have a potter around town today.

Hey girl how's it going with you and your lot. Your not posting as often and that usually means that Dizzy is up to no good!!!!!

Love the new challenge, I'm sure your going to do it. E-bay been a bit mental with me today, have sold about 5 items. They are not worth much but they are clearning some more space in the front room and it earns me a few bob at the same time.

Hope your enjoying your Friday's off work, I even managed to do an hour in the garden today.

Hi guys. It's late and I should be in bed but just popping on to say Hi.
Been paid and my overdraft is still huge...of course I'm not in Fridays anymore and this month was softened by a tax rebate but still, blimey!! I had got it up to the max though, just hadn't updated my sig, couldn't face it! So this month is going to be a frugal one...how many times have I said that?!
Not been my usual chirpy self. Have had a few heated rows with DD which really get me down, I hate arguing. She's still not working, which isn't doing her any good, and while she doesn't ask for money I feel obliged to give her some. Phone credits and stuff. So, been feeling a bit fed up. This has an impact then on OH were I'm biting his head off, figuratively speaking, being vegan...and so it goes on.
Anyhow this evening is a lot calmer and so I've listed some stuff on ebay, and now I'm ready for bed. I have kept up to date with you guys and send you both big hugz.
Catch you tomorrow all being well. Will pop across to your diaries now.

How about a bit of oldstyling by meal planning Dizzy? Its something I stopped but need to although dont you do that anyways? Cant remember now . Can DD help out around they house to compensate?

I'm glad the Friday's off are a success but I'm sorry about the money that's missing in your pay packet. Life is unfair on times isn't it?

Well I'm sitting here typing and the rom around me is a mess, it's the only room I've not managed to clean and even though I keep looking at the mess and thinking about tidying up the motivation hasn't kicked in yet.

Try not to worry about the overdraft, it'll come down in time and we'll support you in your frugal month.

Hi Guys. Thank you so much for your support. DD seems ok today though she has a cold. She's made tea and seems more cheerier. We're the same star sign and sometimes we clash. When we get on we're great together, when we're both moody it's like hell on earth!!
Today I've spent £4.06 and hopefully I won't be spending anymore.
Posted 5 ebay items too but not adding that to spends as it's a necessity.
Hope everyone is okay today. Blimming cold wasn't it.
Time to batten down the hatches ready for winter...if only
