Thanks Pol glad I've spured you on...come on! Get going again

I struggled this morning it was too dark to drag myself out of bed
I've been looking at the new benefits system at work and we can buy high street vouchers at a discount...now I noticed that Asda are on there with 8% of the voucher, so if I buy a £10 voucher I only pay £9.50...only a small saving but if I can use them on food and petrol it might be worth doing if I bought £70 worth I'd pay only pay £66.50....

Would that not count as paying off a debt, rather than a spend?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

morning folks,
Well it was a week today I woke up and thought "last night was a great night but i couldn't really afford it...wish I hadn't gone" and I came on here and made a plan, i've learnt so much in a few short days...- I'm not alone, there are people out there in the same situation and they are all on her offering advice and support
- I'm wasting money...i've got a little better, i've only spent £5 this week but next week i'm going for NSD full house
- As impossible as it sounded i can actual find ways to earn and extra £10 a day!

Ditto FUOBB!
Its just over a week now till I had the same thought and my way of thinking and treating money has completely changed, I'm so much happier knowing this month I'll have paid off a good chunk of debt!
Well done, good luck for next week too, I think once you break the habit and make saving money your new habit then it'll become much easier!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Morning all
Well I was a bit slack over the weekend..so I’m behind on my earn £10 a day challenge (Currently 82.05) so I need to step it up! I have earnt more than I ever thought possible when I saw the challenge I was sceptical but I think you can actually do it if you set an hour aside and evening. If I hit the £250 mark that will be brilliant. I have a mystery shopping job Friday so I know I have £10 in the bag for this week already I just need to make another £60 this week to get back in the game so I need to get my thinking cap on.. I’ve had a clothes for cash leaflet through this week but I’ve not read too many good things about them…I’m also going to sit down and write a couple of reviews. I might start writing them on the train to work and then submitting them that night when I get home, I spent 2 hours a day on the train and it’s frustrating that its dead time I don’t want to do surveys and things as the download charge is horrendous on my iphone.
I’ve withdrawn what I have earnt from Ebay this week so far and popped into my shinny new account for my extra earnings :j
I had a quick look through my cupboards yesterday and I seem to have 3 of the same thing all half full of cleaning stuff, so one night this week I’m going to make an inventory, I’m not going to buy anymore and til I’ve used up what I have. The more I look at my cupboards (food, toiletries etc) the more I realise I’ve just been blatantly wasting money - 3 sprays of disinfectants – 2 of which are ¾ full so I’ve obviously bought a replacement and started using the replacement before finishing up the old one I’m so annoyed with myself.
I’m going to try and avoid spending money this week, I have a night out tomorrow for a birthday but it’s all paid for. I’m going to aim for 5NSD this week.
I’m also going to turn my attention to xmas as I only have 2 pay days between now and then. I came into work today to 2 boxes of chocolates (expensive brands) so I think I may take them home and start a xmas present drawer…well..things are tight this year…and so are my jeans!!! :rotfl:
So action plan for this weekend:
· 5 NSD
· Musicmagpie some more CD’s
· Look for more stuff to ebay
· Batch bake a lasagne
· Complete a mystery shopper task
· Go Swimming twice this week
· Go to the gym once
· Make an inventory of all cleaning products I have
· Start reviews
· Xmas present list0 -
just done some survey's "Earn £10 a day" challenge total up to £93.22!! really think I might actually do this!!:j0

Don't worry so much about that - at least they don't go off. Chucking out the food is the big money-waster.Fed_up_of_being_broke wrote: »I’m also going to turn my attention to xmas as I only have 2 pay days between now and then. You want to go into Christmas with them slack - gives you room to grow into the festive season...
