The Kindle fire might be better for you then, the best of both worlds. Not released over here *yet* but the price point should be about £130 - £150 for a touchscreen kindle with adapted android. Hopefully a release date pre christmas will be anounced.

Got mine yesterday from Batley, rang around loads of stores and this was the closest that had stock. 6 left - asked if I could reserve 1 the SA said no, I explained it was a 50min drive and she said she'd put 1 behind the counter.

Sure enough when I got there it had been kept for me! I was very grateful!

none in port glasgow or greenock thought i was luck when i saw two boxes on the shelf in greenock but when i went to the till they said they were out of stock

Hubby checked Newtownabbey last night at 11.00pm and there weren't any, staff member helped him check even in the mobile phone area that was closed, so unless they got them in this morning.
