Samsung galaxy Tablet £149 (RRP£399) at tesco

I phoned every store within 75 mile radius and every answer was the same,sorry no stock left,no we wont be re stocking them???

None in Inverness, but they did have the the dell streak 7inch for £149 (inverness retail park)

It's OK.

The screen has got bad reviews and is lower resolution than the samsung. Some people say it doesn't have 3G but mine does.

It has a better camera at 5Mb and also updates to Android 3.2 Honeycomb (made for tablets) whereas samsung runs Android 2.2 (upgrades to 2.3.3 but made for phones).

I have one which I will return as am waiting for Tesco to get some samsungs in so I can swap. It's unopened.

I also have a Samsung which i'm keeping.

If you want android 3.2 and can do with the lower resolution screen then go for the Dell. If you want something better, both in terms of screen and quality, go for samsung which also has 3G.

Each has it's ups and downs.

Double checked in P&%l C&$nwal& today and person on electrical sharply said "no we have none" think they may have been asked a fare few times over the last few days!!... Good luck to folk who can still find...

Is the Dell an instore only offer or glitch, as when I went to Tesco direct online it says £299?

customer services at Gallions Reach has just stated there are none left in ANY tesco's branches nationwide (pinch of salt needed here i think)

Tesco often charge different prices on-line and in store. Alot of reductions never make it on-line unfortunately.
