My oh was finally succesful today. He manage to get out of work early to pick me and my daughter up from hospital and dropped bu T0p Vall3y on his way home, picking up 3, one for his work mate, 1 for my bro and 1 for my son. They were quite shady and reluctant to bring them out. One of them, the seal was broken and although the screen protector was still on, there was a 3 sim in it, do you think its a customer return or one that was just opened in the shop to show off? We're using that one for my son anyway as he's not bothered that its already opened.

OMG when I read your post earlier I thought you was joking regarding the colour , but now I know you are being serious.
There are people on here who would sell their granny for one of these. These are rare as rocking horse poop at this price and you complain about the colour.
Please advertise it on here and make somebody happy, you might even get a extra couple of quid for your trouble.

    Remember....Every little helps!!!

    Hi Mark,

Just thought Id update you and say I took it back afterall as I dont think I could used to the white..... (After all the fuss on here about this, AS IF I WOULD!)

Seeing as you were so desperate for one though I did pop back into the store on the way home to see if there were any left but they had all gone :(

Sorry, but I did try for you (and that was no joke!). Sandy (every little helps) ;)
  • Hmpf, we were told N'abbey had 6 this morning, Carrick sold out yesterday and then when we rang Connswater and N'breda we were basically told out of stock and one person even said 'wha?' Dont think I could rationalise the mega petrol needed to go to the stores on the other side of town just on the off chance the staff were talking up the left. Who are the phantom MSE'rs in Norn Iron buying up stock and not reporting back?? ;)

Think we must have a lurker in E**tbourne! I tried our big store last week for the bargain electricals and was lucky to get an HP laptop (last one) when a nice Techguy checked out the back. Nothing else was available from the list. I wasn't after the Galaxy tab but decided to stop by today and see if anything else had gone down but bumped into my friendly techguy who informed me that someone came in this morning and took all the Galaxy stock (and the cases at 50p)! A trolley full - a large quantity, before the staff even had a chance to get one! So that tells me, this person is loaded and too selfish to post on here since the people from E**tbourne on here who have contacted me have not been able to get a single bargain from that store, not even the batteries which have been cleared too!
My thoughst on this? Well don't buy one from Ebay if the sender is in E**tbourne and if anyone finds something interesting they would like and they are local to me, PM before posting on here and I'll dash off and get it if I can!
All this because of the nice people who post (not lurk) on here helped me to get a Xmas present for my son which I would not have been able to afford otherwise!

that would explain why eastbourne never has any glitchs left....

This morning two people posted that Blackp**l store had sold out, but I was in there this afternoon and saw an elderly couple buy one! They were discussing with tech staff whether to buy the Samsung or a Kindle and decided to buy both as the Samsung was so cheap.
It must have been the last one as the supervisor went over and put OOS label where the display was.
I just wish i had looked as soon as I went in the store instead of trying to find the cheap deep fat fryer!!! :(
The moral of the story is never to believe people who have said an item is sold out!

    Same here!

Except my OH is coming back from a business trip to America tomorrow, so he doesn't know I have it (yet).

It's been literally sat next to me all day.
Just sat there all new and pristine in it's box. Not sure how much longer I can hold out!
I could always say that it's my Christmas present to me from him...
    Hmmmm...
