• Hi

I need some help having problems with VERY.CO.UK. Item was meant to be delivered on Monday the 26th November. I had a telephone call from a rep on Sunday to verify that I was the new account holder and this item would be delivered on Monday, not turned up. I complained Monday evening they refunded me my postage for delivery and said it would be here the next day, it didn't turn up and they said its royal mails problem. Its meant to be delivered today as per their tracking, still waiting. I have complaind to Very UK and they said its not guaranteed!! By the way parcel just been delivered with SPECIAL NEXT DAY DELIVERY GUARANTEED!!! I have lost out on 3 days of work because of this!! Where do I stand can anyone help with this?

Kind regards

• I have enforced delivery from my courier, and received both a written and verbal apology and compensation from the courier - in this instance Tuffnells. They left a note saying that I had missed them and they would return the next day with my carpet, the next day was a Friday and I waited in all day - and I do mean all day. At quarter to five I called the depot to check it was on its way to be told 'no its not, its here, we don't deliver to your postcode on a Friday'. I argued that I had been left a delivery note indicating they were on the Friday, I was told 'tough', seriously , that was the answer. I called the Head Office and complained long and loud threatening legal action, they apologised copiously and within five minutes of that call the area manager called me to apolgise and promised delivery that day 'no matter what, even if I have to bring it in my car'. Long story short, the carpet came, on its own lorry at quarter to nine that evening, along with the area manager who apologised in person. The next morning I got a call from the local manager who told me 'tough' also apologising and on the monday I got a letter of apology from the Head Office.
Dont take 'no' for an answer, you have rights, invoke them and make the couriers accountable.
• Ellie at very co uk is ignoring me now, after sending her an email twice saying packaging says Special next delivery guaranteed. So have adapted template letter to the directors office at very asking for compensation for 2 days unpaid leave!!

Well done Touchthe flame!!

Does this also apply to supplier arrangements rather than deliveries? Ie, Virgin Media who constantly fail to turn up to their 'engineer appointments'.
Yes.
• It won't let me post with links. That is the 1st track point Manchester Mail centre.
• The tracking information from Very starts with 25/11/12 order being processed by Shaw then dispatched from warehouse Shaw, same date. Then added 0n the 27/11/12 collected by Royal mail.
