Afternoon all....
What another beautiful day here 2day its boiling!!
DD was packed off to schhol bright an early this morning as happy as ever, she is an :A
Update on foot... been back to GP this morning as pain is so intense, been given some lovely painkillers
but they have decided now it may not be tendinitus after all??? So frustrating!!
So I've been to hospital for blood tests, they are thinking gout (is that how you spell it?) Please god no!!
I also have to have an x-ray 2moro as apparently I may have experienced "trauma" without knowing it
I just want it over with now, at least the painkillers finally work though, I feel a little bit normal :rotfl:
Still taking things slowly as I'm scared to damage it now incase there is "trauma" lol.
Saying that there's washing on line, more in wm. I also popped in2 town really quick, it's dd bday on 31st so grabbed the little but expensive things ready... candles, cards, wrapping paper etc
I bought a fab candle, it's a sparkler you put into the cake with the number 6 on, her cake is a big princess castle so this will be fab!!
Have had another call from estate agents
Cannot talk about this right now so will explain when I'm calmer

Redruby sorry to hear about the spat with your mum. I dunno what the answer is apart fro the next time she can't afford something I'd be telling her to ring and tell your brother   at the £160 sex lines

Busy day here, been icing a cake ready for cake class tomorrow and went shopping. It's really windy here which is nice as it's still so warm.
Nowt else going on, weeks are flying by and I am just about keeping head above water. Havent even done any cleaning today
:o
Tea is sausage pasta bake so quick to prepare which is a good job as DD was awake for an hour at 4.30am

Redruby, I know exactly how you feel, as the eldest of four and the only girl I am always the one who has to bail out the others. My youngest brother has my mum and dad paying for all sorts as he is not working. Still manages a bet and a pint most days though:mad:. They still treat him like a baby even though he is 40. Can't offer much advice, just wanted to say I understand JulieStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Afternoon ladies,
Ghostmadlittlemiss, welcome these are the nicest bunch of virtual friends your ever likely to meet.
Hope everyone is well, havent read the thread yet, seem to be doing everything back to front lately.
Cannot stop yawning today, Woofer didnt settle at all last night , saw 12, 2.30, 4 and 6 last night .Was sitting on the decking at half 2, think he was just to warm as totally unlike him he loves his sleep , so he has been snoring like a baby today whilst I have been pottering round trying not to snooze as will not sleep tonight, body suffering for it now however and think I may have to throw the towel in and admit defeat.
Dd is still behaving, she has a hockey match tonight her first since being allowed back into the team following her bad behaviour with the 'boyfriend'. She will have to work extra hard if she wants to keep her place. Unlike her old school ,being good at the sport doesn't automatically give you a place on the team, you have to keep your grades up and behaviour has to be excellent . She was gutted when they kicked her of all the sports teams , hard lesson to learn but hey ho.
Dinner is a 'if its there you can have it' night. there is plenty of salady bits, and stuff in the fridge that needs using up and failing that the freezer and cupboards are full to the brim. Will NOT be reaching for the takeaway menus.
So s od all really done today. must try harder tomorrow.Hugs for everone.Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -
Hooommme sweet home
I've retrieved the kenwood cook book that my gran gave along with the chef, so will browse through that with a cuppa and continue to watch the great british bake off. I've 2 epsiodes left to catch up on.
OH has had to fork out £125 for a new tractor battery. For the first time in our lives we've had a little nest egg to take this from and it's not been an issue. Will need to work hard to put it back in as want to keep out savings at £1000 to tide us over any rough patches. But the tractor is rented out this week so will earn it's keep for once! (its been off the road for year!)
Still not sure what dinner is.
Hugs Redruby - i have no advice, but rant away here xAnnual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Hi Chums well the best laid plans and everything went astray today ,I had a frantic call from DD one of the boys Henry was poorly at school and I had to pick him up at 11.30 Bless him he did look rather green and has been flitting between the sofa and the loo all day, poor little guy.So unlike him as he is very rarely ill which makes him look even more woebegone .Didn't even want to play with his new fifa game so he must feel crook. The other boys are fine so no idea whats upset his tummy. His Dad managed to get home by 5.30 so I had an early night .Dad is working at home tomorrow so apart from taking Mikey to school I will be able to catch up on my ironing mountain.Certainly not going to start it tonight as its still too warm and humid.Eldest DD texed me to say her OH is taking wednesday off so she will be able to go with him to Leicester to my BIL funeral,I'm glad she's not driving all that way alone as her sense of direction leaves a lot to be desired.just going to sort out some dinner for tonight from the freezer
have a good evening everyone
Cheers JackieO xx
P.S. I once remember being on the beach at Whitstable with my two girls and a very well spoken lady calling out to her two children 'Gaylord ,Quentin, do come away from that horrid water' Two little boys obediantly went to sit with their Mother on a bench, and just looked longingly at the other children playing in the sand .Why she bothered to take them there I can't imagine but I bet they changed their names when they got a bit bigger, this was circa 1973

I am not sure she is getting single person on the CT, they did not have to pay much at all when dad was at home, will get her to ask the man tomorrow.
