    hilstep - have a fab holiday :)
Daisiegg - go to Drs, dizziness is horrid (I have vertigo so get lots of dizzy spells), but don't drive if you feel too dizzy x
    welcome Ghostmadlittlemiss

Nice sunny start here, if a little crisp.

First thing this morning me and a colleague had to go collect the trailer for the minibus. It is kept at our colleague whose father passed away last week family home. It is kept in a place where we could pick it up without disturbing them, but my colleague came out to say hello. He looked so dazed bless him :(, he is an only child and it's quite a traditional Welsh farming family so keep themselves to themselves. I gave him a big cwtch (hug). The funeral is on Thurs and I think we will all go to pay our respects.

Today I am covering for my colleague, going to take a group to residential. I am just dropping them off but it's a 90min drive there (going to West Wales). It shall be a nice spin, and I can take my time coming back ;).

I've managed to get 2 free tickets to see the new film Real Steel tonight :D so me and my friend are going to go for bite to eat first, then see film.

OS wise - DW needs emptying that's about it!

    Have a good day all

    Morning all,

I'm having a slow start today, only done the washing and taken the dog out :o.All the men are at home which doesnt help my motivation cos they only mess things up again.DH is looking at a job replacing barge boards and gutters, prob only a few days work though, and there is stuff in the pipeline but plans etc not passed yet,so we'll have to belt tighten. We've had an expensive few weeks with doing the nursery for DGD and buying other baby stuff and presents.Last week we also had a couple of lunches out as DH was at home and it was nice weather.I'm not panicking yet about DH work as he has been lucky so far this year and had very little time off so he deserves a bit of a rest-trouble is if he doesnt work he doesnt get paid(self employed)

I really must start on the ironing now,and not thought about tea yet,so hugs to all in need xx

    Morning all

Been trying to follow thread even if I don't post much :o

Dogs walked, sons dispatched, WM just finishing and will be out on the line very shortly and BM on timer to be finished when I get back from the gym.

Managed to leave kitchen tidy and sorted last night, it is a habit I am trying to get into :)

Things are a bit up in the air here as MIL died yesterday so I am trying to steer OH and SIL through the funeral process remembering that there is not a lot of money around. Neither of them have ever really had to organise anything before and are not in the right frame of mind now. Luckily I encouraged OH to start discussing things with his mother a few months ago, she has been ill for a long time but he had no idea of her wishes or if she had already made any plans.

Just grabbed a few minutes on the computer.

We have been working hard to get the garden and outside of the house ready for winter and have nearly finished.

DS is out in the garden doing a bit more weeding

DH has one more tip run to do and then he wants to give his shed a good sorting out.

DD has started back at college today so positive vibes for her please peeps.

I have done two loads of washing this morning and have one more to do then I am completely up to date.

All the house work is done so that means I will get a chance to do some crafting this afternoon wit h a bit of luck.

    Welcome ghostmadlittlemiss.

Have had my mum on the phone this morning really down, since my dad has been in the home she has obviously lost all the allowances she got for him, and now has £400 per month to live on, by the time she has paid the mortgage and council tax this leaves her with £50 pm for bills and food.

She has a huge cc bill, my brother is constantly on the phone to mum, saying they have no food etc (they have money for fags though ) so mum runs to the shop and buys them food on her cc, she also takes cash out for him on it, he has got a bit better since I had a word with him a while ago, but a few months ago while mum was away my nephew broke into mums house and slept there for a few nights, and while there ran up a £160 phone bill calling s*x lines . Mum told me this morning that she did not have enough money to buy loo rolls.

So I texted bro and wife to tell them to make sure they paid mum back for the phone bill this week. Mum then phoned me and told me off, saying I should not have done it, and has put the phone down on me.

My brother can do no wrong as far as mums concerned, even though he never visits or phones or helps her out, he has not been to see dad for weeks.

I find it really hard to see my mum struggling, and him taking the p**s and then me getting it in the neck for trying to help :(

Sorry for the miserable post :o, just needed to 'talk' to someone x
