I'm joining in with the HHC

Target to get worktops cleared and cleaned, floor swept and mopped - good luck methinks, but I'm darn well going for it!

Bah, not quite there with the worktops, but did sort and put a load in the WM. (Had to take some stuff upstairs so thought I may as well do that whilst I was there) and framed a photo. :)

Going to carry on for another HHC if DS is still napping, then if any time left my treat myself and read 'til he wakes.

    wipe down the surfaces
    washing in TD
    1 load in WM

email tutor (after receiving a letter that was chasing the enrolment form I have already returned  if they didn't have it (I emailed the day before the letter was sent) they could have sent me another form! now they have wasted another 3 days at least :mad: the course statrted on Monday :()

I am a bit wound up this morning anyway :( After sitting behind the binmen in the next street (mine is one way & we have to go down the next street to get up ours), i pulled up outside my house (with the binmen behind me) to find that some KH has parked in both spaces  (we don't have a drive). So I have had to pull down the next road and park there! (I could have gone round the block, but would have been behind the binmen again!) Ggrrr! one of my pet hates are inconsiderate parkers!!

Ok :D rant over! i feel better now! :p

ETA I have had a reply to my email. The form arrived yesterday! She will be arranging to send our my username today! :j I amy stop moaning now :p

Lacking motivation at the moment. DDs asleep so going to force myself to hang bedding out and start menu planning. Seen some great recipes I want to try this week but they are not friendly to the pocket or the waistline:(

I've been able to eat a few little frogs before they became huge :)

    Made Dr. appointment for myself
Made nurses appointment for DD2 for first "cancer" jab, she was meant to have it done at school but they ran out
Phoned Tax credits to tell them of my change in surname. Failed the security question  as the answer was 10 years out of date!! I didn't even remember having it as my security question :(
Anyway have set up a new question now :)

I've hung washing on airer and now it's brighten up outside so I'll hang it out on the line in a bit.
    DW is on
I've done the bathroom except the floor, I'll do that later
Going to reload the WM in a minute.
I can't believe that DD1 isn't bald with the amount of her hair I found in there!

    Morning everyone,

I’m in for the week, thank you to Piggers and Toots for keeping us all under control with the lists:D

Sorry I haven’t been around the past two weeks, the first week we went away to a lovely cottage in Shropshire for a week. It was in a little village called Little Frankton in the middle of nowhere, but very sweet. The dogs also enjoyed the sniffs and walks too. :D

Then last week I came home from holiday with a god awful virus/cold thingy. We think it was all the driving I did on holiday, the long drive back home. It took it out of me, and bought on an ME relapse which left me susceptible to anything going around. It started with a cold but then it developed into something much more horrible. A virus of some sort which made me feel like I had flu. Bit unfortunate it was the hottest week of August as I ended up dripping with sweat the whole week : Oh and believe me projectile vomiting is not good, but at least it got my toilet carpet a good clean and it is now sparkling, well as sparkling as a carpet can be..lol Thankfully I am starting to get over this thing, but it has left me with a god awful cough and a husky voice. Plus I do still have the remnants of a cold thingy hanging around. Can’t wait till it is all gone as I can actually sleep on 2 pillows instead of 5 at once..lol

Congratulations to everyone that wants them. Sorry haven’t read back over the thread..

Welcome to the newbies, and the returnees, you’ll love it here. Oh and I also notice a couple of you are from my neck of the woods – finally I am not alone in being the only Kent lass..lol

Off to have my shower and get myself feeling semi human as I have to pop to the farm shop up the road and get some fruit and eggs. Stupid me didn't order my fruit and veg order from Riverford at the weekend - think my brain was slightly addled with ickiness! Thankfully we still have enough veg to last us till next week, but we are running low on fruit. Plus I want to get some cooking apples while I'm up there :D Oh and some of the Kent Crips that I am totally addicted to - Oyster flavour..mmmm!! First have to remove a very clingy cat, who won't leave me alone since I defleaed her yesterday. She has to keep touching me, or laying across me on the sofa.. Very unlike her. The other cat couldn't care less..he is his usual obnoxious self..lol

Hugs and love to everyone, especially Toots and LL

  • Have made bread (in the machine) and run the DW today as well as the usual morning swish 'n' swipe. I decided this morning to sort out the larder, get my emergency food box sorted and arrange for delivery of necessary groceries as we go into the colder weather. That all took most of the morning but is now finished so I'm taking the rest of the day off in celebration of a job well done.

    Happy Flying, everyone!
