The kids are gonna be feeling it today, DS1 (usually organised) forgot to put his swimming stuff in the washing basket last week. So when we went looking for his bag this morning all was sitting half wet, is it mean that i sent him with half wet shorts.
The boys are slipping and just not pulling there weight so i'm gonna pull them in abit.
DS2 told a lie yesterday and boy i hate lies so he missed him club thing and went to bed. He was fast asleep come 7pm and i'm hoping he's learned that what i say i mean. DS1 was just glad he wasn't bad and got to the club. :rotfl:
I've spent most of the morning in minor injuries so didn't get what i wanted done so looks like i'll not be at home tomorrow at all..
Boys are home so they can make a start on their homework and i'll spend the time in the kitchen, shouldn't take me too long so sort it out.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Ok, so I have put 3 loads of clothes away, emptied and reloaded the wm and td and put a load more stuff in the attic.
Going to have a drink and watch some rubbish on the telly for a bit now xx0 -
LW how was your trip? Did your wheelchair friendly 'hostelry' tasting go well?
Tell BD to s*d off or I'll send Oz round.
He's currently very confused as we have the decorators in so everything is out of place - he also has a very fetching white gloss nose. Not going to bother cleaning him off until its all done. I'm hoping I don't have to get the scissors out:DGC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
Thanks Piggers; no woofeties at the mo, but I have a 15 year old Collie booked to arrive on Friday 14th October for 8 days.
List-wise, I'm only doing what needs it (honest, guv:D) but of course, there's always catch-up stuff after a trip away. *rolleyes*
Got a not-very-welcome dog at present - came home to find the biggest, hairiest, snarlingest BD lurking in the shrubbery waiting to pounce on me - hence me being quiet for a few days.:(
I think I just need to catch my breath, get back to not running on pure adrenaline (which I was while we were away, tbh), and get used to being on my own for many, many hours again.:o
The 14th will be upon you before you know it and you wil have a nice kind of furry friend for a while!!!!
RSPCA are being sent for the BD .. nasty thing that it is!!!! Until they get there Ill leave a few bones and a leash so hopefully it leaves you alone a bit.
Squeak is so nearly walking!!! She has been doing 5-6 steps constantly today.. she is getting brave! lol.
I am struggling to type as I broke the nail on my pointy finger.. roll on Friday when I can get them fixified!.. might see if I can be squeezed in tomorrow actually..
OH as gone to hide at tesco for a bit.. DS3 has eaten us out of house and home so we need to restock all the cupboards.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Oh dear just reading the list of stuff to do has exhausted me.
I will have to get up a bit earlier tomorrow and see if I can get motivated. Although my daughter is due to come over and help me tomorrow. Fingers crossed between us we will get back on track soon. I hate being ill, it really does put the mocca on things. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Livingroom looking better, floors decluttered, dusting done, hoovering done, fireplace done, sofa all nice and tidy again. I plan on decluttering the coffee table and under the nest of tables tonight.

finally got started on the lists! only half way through the week but i think ive done amazingly if i do say so myself!
i have (since half 11 and 1.50pm)
*totally emptied and reorganised the dining room unit! (no small feat as its almost 7 feet high with 4 big cupboards and 4 smaller ones plus loads of carp stored onto too) which was a massive frog ive been putting off for over a year!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
*totally cleared and wiped down the dining table. seems its constantly being used to store mail that never seems to be filed or the kids toys coz the toy box next to the table is just not suitable
plus done everything thats scored out on the lists and
*cleaned the bathroom top to bottom (minus washing the floor)
*put all unnecessary hair and makeup stuff away that i dont use every day and sorted (tidily!!) the stuff i do use in the relevant drawers etc
*cleaned the hoover brush that was clogged with my hair _pale_
its my best mates birthday today so we are getting a take away and drinking lots and lots of alcohol tonight so i will see everyone tomorrow! ill try not to be too hungover but im making no promises!
oh and i fake tanned my legs too lol.0
