Today, I picked some gibble off the living room floor and put it on the sofa Minion usually languishes upon. It's still there, but at least it isn't on the floor now. She appears to have attempted to shine her shoes, judging by the poundshop shine pad abandoned without its lid by the front door. First time for everything, I suppose.
I have also done 5 runs to the recycling bins, and the novelty is wearing off, having to put food in one bin, then take it out and put it into another bin, and store some stuff in another bin and then some other stuff in another bin and then the rest of the stuff in another bin plus stuff that has food on it but isn't actually food in another bin....I bet they'll refuse to take any of it because I've got a particular type of plastic in the plastic recycling which isn't plastic that can be recycled or something....despite the leaflet saying all plastic except for plastic they don't take.
And then they'll pay someone to dump it in a third world country.
Spent last night playing some seriously fast stuff nonstop for 90 minutes. So (for all those of a certain age) I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!!!!!!!
Then wandered off to the music shop for a spare bass strap and then pretty much constant practice. I WILL get these perfect. I WILL. I WILL.
Having had a good makeover from the woman in the MAC concession yesterday, I think I am going to spend some dosh there in the morning, especially as most of it seemed to stay on after playing under the lights for so long. Such a shame that I am so pasty faced that their palest foundation is too orange.
Other than that, not really done anything much.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Hi all, hope you are all doing fab.
We've been on a little hol as a friend lent us their caravan, had a few great days enjoying the weird summer! Got back Sunday, work Monday, spent all today looking at piles of mucky washing and mounds of half unpacked stuff while kids ran round playing with all the toys they own. So now I am going to see what magic I can work until 10.00pm, then relax…….top speed then!0 -
Havent been around, but have been flying!
Have avoided the lists due to working 12 hour shifts mon thurs and fri this week, so today have blitzed kitchen, bathroom, living room and hall/stairs, have even cleaned and conditioned the suite!
Washed and dried 2 loads, but inside as its been raining and blowing a gale, will [STRIKE]waste time[/STRIKE]..enjoy ironing it tomorrow once back from hairdresser!
Took DS to dentist as hes had toothache, not our dentist so emergency dressing after wee jag, and appointment with own dentist on monday to discuss root canal treatment or extraction, helpfully OH told him to have it out as root canals are painful! First time he has needed any treatment, so he is fascinated with poking himself in the face after the anaesthetic....16 year old boys are such a joy! Need to look for artificial wedding flowers tomorrow, we are off to Turkey next weekend for a friends wedding and OH wants a thistle and heather buttonhole!RIP Iain
