I wonder if this thread been invaded by a bunch of people on creative writing courses who are having a slightly dark day, because there seems to be a whole new subplot being generated about the OP that really isn't represented in their posts!

I noticed that too, and someone who thinks that reductions only save a pound must be an imposter, my scallop, king prawn and chorizzo had over £4 per pack off last night.
I think the secret is to look at the items pick a few, leave the scene and then return for a few more.
The staff appreciate this as hovering for a long time can be a bit intimidating.

Possibly some from the 'consumer rights' section might have wandered over. They're an angry, judgemental bunch. ;)
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I thought that too- its not a good idea asking for any support about anything other then health issues (the health board can be really helpful and I've managed to get some great advice) I have seen and observed too many people asking for help on here with many issues and its horrible now- you can almost foresee the judgements about to be made-everything from a moral standpoint to spelling/punctuation/grammar. Its one thing to cast judgement, its another to post your thoughts when the person posting is asking for advice or even support. No one is perfect, but it would appear many expect others to be.

Its sad that the boards become like this, I don't think they always have been. If people ask to be judged then fine but most just ask for help. IMO it does verge on bullying. Reporting posts seems to do very little, it would appear the mods take the standpoint that posts are there to be judged rather then offer advice. But I suppose that how many in society are now. I rarely bother asking for help now and doubt I'm the only one who thinks like this.

yep, there is other shops to goto and that is what we are doing. Includeing the post office. Asda has lost more by this then they think. There fingers are in lots of pies these days.
you said yourself you dont spend much money there so the only thing theyre losing is an unwanted [STRIKE]stalker[/STRIKE] customer who [STRIKE]hangs around their staff making them very uncomfortable[/STRIKE] stands in their store for an hour waiting to save 5p on a breadstick!

I have a good mind to organise a collection for you as I now feel sorry for you and all your effort that has gone into wasting many an hour posting such drivvle.

I was quite supportive of the OP during the first few pages but I now get the strong suspicion that he is only interested in keeping this thread going, regardless of what advice is being given to him.
  • Anyone else think that Crazyguy and Jalow are the same person. Quite frankly some peoples replies are incredibly rude, just who do you think you are to ignore the actually post and claim the person sounds crazy as their grammar is not perfect and they are trying to make their money go further. Just get a job - Oh if only it was that easy. Some people on MSE are nasty, judgemental *$^£@.

OP - Ignore some of these incredibly rude posters and just e-mail the CEO - calmly and politely and explain the situation. Then take it from there.
