Winter Tyres

I've decided against winter tyres as I work from home a lot. On the odd day I may need to go out I only have a problem with one hill so I've bought a set of these from Costco for £59:

The full retail for the Easy Grips are around £99 and I only use them on Mrs V's Corsa automatic which has a snow function on the gearbox and skinny 185 section tyres instead of 205s on the Mazda and 235s on the Beemer.

I'm too old too be crouching down in the snow putting on chains.
Pair of snow tyres for my wifes car was £98 fitted, plus a tenner for two rims off ebay. I can fit those in November, take them off in March.
And they cost the same as summer tyres did, so overall it's just the tenner for the rims.

I just bought some Goodyear Ultragrip 8 winter tyres best price I found was from Oponea.co.uk £49/ corner, cheaper than my summer tyres!
My tyres was also a good price at £56/corner. Just got an update, my tyres have got to Nurnberg at 1pm this afternoon, so I may get them in the morning. Although the Oponea site appears English I think all the tyres are supplied from Poland.
These prices include delivery.
