winds are picking up here, raining a bit but it's not like it was with 'bawbag' :rotfl:

my daughter and i are playing board games and listening to christmas music, i did have to put the light on it's very dark in here!

had to pity the poor sod that stuffed my letter box with circulars, what a day to be going door to door in this, already feel bad for the posties and delivery drivers but just for junk mail? days like this must make them really hate their job :(

    stay safe everyone!

Looks like the worst place in Scotland at the moment for wind might be down the Ayrshire coast.

Don't know whether to get ready to go out or not, it's supposed to calm down after 6 - but I suppose if I do that it WON'T calm down:rotfl:
  • Just had to talk to someone in Glasgow in Procurator Fiscal's office ( son had a speeding ticket given when we were last up there in Sept clearing dads home - he passed in July - and he is fighting it and I managed to lose the letter they sent him, think I put it in recycle as cannot find it anywhere) and I could hear the wind hitting the window, girl I was speaking to told me they were petrified the windows were going to give, sounds terrible up there.

Keeping everything crossed for you all where weather is bad.
Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

Well it is blisteringly cold here with that wind chill factor being thrown in. Watching TV last night (we have sky) we kept losing signal :( I ran to the car with the trolley from Sainsburys and was so glad to get home. I had put the dogs bedding on the line to dry this morning but it has only taken a bit of moisture out of it! I also filled the car up and the petol pump was moving about on it's stand

Washing machine is on and so is the tumble dryer at the moment. I shall finsih off doing the housework then I am going to have some me time this evening. DH is at work so I have the place to myself - bliss :D
Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money :D
