I didn't know you could link to A*azon thru N£ctar and get points  The points I have missed out on :o:o:o

Yep, go to the N*ectar site and get your details all registered and that, then it will remember you, then you can shop in loads of places online and collect points while you do it! Brilliant!

Our old hoover broke the other day and I couldn't bear the thought of spending money on a new one so I cashed in our N*ectar points for A*azon vouchers and got it 'free' - plus I shopped via the N*ectar site and got more points! Oh yes!
  • Thats exactly what I was thinking. I have spent a fortune with them this year  a feast after a long famine thanks to the inheritance, which has all gone  ( but even all my family members who love to critize me as we are the poorest out of the lot and yet they live up to their eyes in debt but if I buy us something that is not nessesary I am told I waste money, but as said even they this year have been praising me on how well I have spent the money, clearing all debts and renewing what was needed in house and yes bought a few extras that will make my life a bit more enjoyable or easier - I thought long and hard before spending a penny, at least we can hold our heads up and say we owe no-one a penny and come next April paying the CT and WR will be our only debts, so as I had lost my nectar card and been using hubbys for years, only at sains,

I just phoned nectar and requested a new card - we already had linked accounts and got my number from them and went through their site to order my next biobulb. My actual card should turn up in next 10 days. It's never hubby orders from them himself, always asks me to do it, so it is me that has the account with them, so am glad now I know about this and will always go in future through nectar to buy from them. I better totally forget about all the points I could have had:( Now I must dig out a British Gas Bill as I see you can get points through them, but as yet had not registered on line with BG. In future I will scour the nectar site carefully in case the company I want to buy from is there.

This reminds me of collecting Green Shield Stamps years ago - would go the places that did them to collect as many as I could and usually the shops that did were good value for money.

Thank you so much for mentioning it Sarahl1:T:A

You are most welcome! Feeling pretty honoured that I've been able to give a tip to you wonderful lot. Go me!!

ahhhhhhhhhhh sitting in front of my new fire (I mentioned that, right?) and wondering when its going to be cold enough to wear my rabbit fur coat (not sure if I mentioned that? :D )

I wore it for Trick or Treating with the DDs and came home with the lining of the coat sticking to me even tho I only had a T Shirt on underneath  Its going to have to be freezing this winter or my £10.49 (LOL I am so chuffed with such an ebay bargain! :D ) will have been wasted :D
  • Just imagine: some poor rabbit is out there freezing his b***s off coz you knicked his coat Frugal! That'll teach him never to use Ebay when he needs money for new carrots.
Early days yet though, I'm sure you'll be the toastiest woman around come January.
    Normal people worry me.
