Graham White / Michael Sobell - first PPC court case

Options
Graham White / Michael Sobell were representing Elite Management (Midland) UK Ltd in Birmingham Civil Justice Centre today - a first for them I understand.

Result - a no show.

Case dismissed.

    What a surprise!!
  • Why on earth do they bother, it can't be used for propoganda and just costs them money.

Oh dear, evidence not strong enough Mr Sobell, Invoice too steep compared to actual loss? Ever likely you hadn't the nerve to attend...

Oh come on! Its a fair old hike to Birmingham CC and don't forget you can't use your Senior Railcard on very many peak time journey's. For a 10.30 start he'd have had to leave West Byfleet by about 7.00am and then there's the hassle of trekking across town from Waterloo to Euston. Mike is getting on you know I think we should cut him some slack as either things are getting quiet - Michael Sobell Ltd is now registered as "Dormant" (as of June 2011) - or he's chosen to retire. And, presumably, forgotten to tell Elite.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Do the SRA know about this?
  • You'll realise soon that as you get older its easy to forget unimportant things. He probably got the date/time confused.

What costs/expenses could the Defendant claim in such a case?

The whole procedure was cocked up by GW.

In fact it was totally incompetent. Surely there is some of redress for what appears to be a vexatious claim?
