Thanks to OP picked the last one? up from Boots London Colney. I say the last one because the rather sorry excuse for a till monkey went off to get one with the empty box I'd given her (after making me wait 10 minutes while she did something to one of the processing machines - much more important than serving customers - I mean she didn't even have the old grey matter to let me know and say something like I'll be with you in a minute which might of pacified me)! When she came back she had a different box still open so I made her wait while I checked that all was there lol.0

Just set up my D78 and am happy with the printing quality but not done any photo's yet. The only difference I have noticed so far is that the D78 is more noisier than the r200 / r300 but not a big deal0

These are incredibly cheap. has anyone had any experience of these and,if so, what are the results like in terms of print quality?
Grateful for any help.0 -

all my inks came from ukdvdr.
about 20 or so in all.
i used the originals , then from there on used nothing but compatibles.
am very happy with them.Im no light user either , do a fair few discs and covers.I will admit photos arnt as good as genuine ink, but then with Truprint,snapfish/tesco and the likes doing "proper" photos cheaper than i can get the paper it pointless these days doing them at home.
i looked at it that if i got 1year out of the printer using cheap inks then that would be fine. The things lasted well over that , and still going strong. The cartidges i used were Ridisc, but im not sure if they still do them0 -

Im having problems with getting mine to print on a disc cos it keeps saying im inserting the tray in incorrectly but im using black CD's at the mo and not proper printable media so that may be my problem.Always looking for a bargain and to help0 -
i found it didnt take the disc in properly.
but if you pull the part out that extends when you use if for printing paper, the disc carrier rests on it amd it allows the rollers to grab it properly0 -

When you put the disc tray in make sure you line up the arrow on the tray to the arrow either side of the printer and it should be ok.0
