Recently seen - Pirates of The Caribbean : At World`s End

Great Movie as to be expected :)

No Spoiler here but a little tip for those with a bit of Patience ...if you sit through the Closing Credits there is an Extra Clip to be watched at the end of them....but beware there are a lot of Credits to sit through.

    Enjoy

Managed to see the 'Ghosts' screening at Amnesty Intl last night (did any other MSE-ers manage to make it?), and thought it was quite a sensitive and tragic look at the events that happened not just at Morecambe Bay that night 3 years ago, but the months of struggle that would have lead up to it.

The Q&A afterwards with the director (Nick Broomfield) and a representative from Anti Slavery International was also very informative.

Went and saw water at Vue West End, a time out opening nights screening - very busy (95% full), a wonderful film with beautiful images, a very enjoyable evening out. Thsnks OP.

Totally agree with Tigergold, it was one of the best films I've seen for ages, very sad and moving despite a few 'Hollywood'-esque (or is it 'Bollywood'?) features.

More poignant knowing the difficulties in making the film - the director and people associated have had death threats and the film's first production attempt 7 years ago had to shut down after riots. Main star Sarala (an 8 yr old Sri Lankan unknown) is astounding especially as she couldn't speak any Hindi or English and had to learn her lines phonetically!

I thought it was funny when a young couple nearby scarpered after the opening scenes, I think they were in to see Wedding Daze!
    I hope I didn't brain my damage...

Didn't make this Voodooray, it was on the same nite as Water (and Water won!) but have been to a previous 'Behind the Screen' at Amnesty and it was really good - eye-opening stuff, makes you feel real lucky. Also makes it much more interesting when the director can sit there and tell you the background of the film, it's like having a personal interview.

Hey, do you know if this film/documentary's going to be screened anywhere else? eg. TV?
