Am looking forward to Ocean's 13 tonight though, I set my alarm to get tickets at 9am the other day!
There's another one on gobeyond screen again now, have just posted the details on the other thread.
Cheers for the Ghosts info fiestyfeasey, sounds like it'll prob be shown again at some point. & thanks for the new gobeyondscreen post! :T
Hope Ocean's 13 was good - I missed most of the last few posts so missed out on the tickets - not too upset tho, looks a bit cheesy! :undecided (did like Ocean's 11 remake, Ocean's 12 I can't even remember.)I hope I didn't brain my damage...

I went to see Ocean's 13 in the Haymarket cinema, was an absolute joke, the sound went at one point, and made this highly annoying ear piercing sound, made worse by the fact I always sit right at the front! I wouldn't have minded, but it happened a few times, and when it happened the first time it was for rather a long time so it would have been a good idea if they had taken the film back to where it was when it went as we probably missed some information!!!
Apart from that I liked it, you're right though Bnkers77, it is a bit cheesy, but I quite like it sometimes for laid back, easy viewing!!!0 -
I was at Haymarket as well. I was hoping they'd just stop the reel and give us all free vouchers for another time ... oh well. The film was alright though.0

i was there also , i think they were doing that on purpose so no one could pirate it - it was happening quite a few times !
For me also - the film was ok easy viewing.0 -

I was slightly hoping that they would be giving out something on the way out, but no such luck!!!0 -
it was free anyway so why should they give you anything?
i've been to loads of free movies (thanks to this site) and there seems to be a lot of problems but i cant exactly complain as i didnt pay for anything
was a well cheesy but still pretty funny movie i thought.
will have to go back and re-watch the first two again now as cant remember more than being impressed by them. lol0 -

Because, whether something's free or not, you shouldn't have to sit in a cinema that can't play a film without mucking the sound up!! It's more the fact that it's annoying to sit there and have your viewing interrupted, it doesn't make for comfortable viewing.
It's like when you go and the film's not working, they give you vouchers, as you've taken the time and the effort to get there.
Just because you don't pay for something, doesn't mean you should except bad quality all the time! I go to these more for the fact that I get to see them first than for the fact they're free.0 -

I went to the Camden screening of Babel and the same thing happened there. They eventually stopped the screening and gave everyone an Odeon voucher.0 -

You're right yeslek, shouldn't complain eh - beggers can't be choosers & all that?
Maybe 1st 2 are better than I give credit for, I really can't remember much from either apart from being impressed at the slickness of the 1st one. A reviewer at the time described it as 'the definition of 'slick'', which I agree with - the story, look, music, suits, everything!
Sounds ok, I guess I'll go see this one from what everyone's said about it.Hell, I might eventually get over the thought of PAYING for it...shock!I hope I didn't brain my damage...

I've just heard that Impulse have pulled out of the screening for that French film next Tuesday. I wonder if the tickets are still valid...0
