    Folks

I would like to confirm what AngelUndercover has stated in post #705 when I applied originally for The Cardiff Screening of Vacancy the Tickets were all gone ...but I tried the Link yesterday and Managed to get 2 as more tickets were obviously made available.

And have tried the Wedding Daze link again this morning (15/05/06) and there are more Tickets available for the Cardiff Screening (all gone yesterday)...so it may be worth checking again for other venues if you got the Full Screening message yesterday there may be more at other venues also.

  • bumping this so that people can discuss their free tickets here rather than on the other thread. As Hackeroonie mentions above - tickets are available for Vacancy (wandsworth is full) as well as Wedding Daze at the moment.

I'd also like to thank to littlejaffa who, despite the barrage of abuse/etc continues to inform people that the other thread is not the place for discussion.

Have just been to see "magicians" at the panton st odeon, London and I have to admit it was alright. Few obvious jokes and some laugh out loud moments but overall very good.

And the two stars, David Mitchell and Robert Webb, were there to introduce the film! Never been to a free screening where the actors have done that!
  • How cool was that huh? Rob Webb is hot ;)

Hey thanks, nice1 :D I was actually stumbling around for info about Ken's celebrations for his new way of spending money (more potential free-ness). Anyway, hope others find a film or two they might enjoy.

Here's hoping that we get some nice weather around the time!

Yeah, me too, thanks for your posts Voodooray, some pretty good films in the London openair lot too. Hey and to top it off, you get to watch 'em in an ampitheatre - beat that for novelty! :p

Sounds like a laugh, I'm gutted I was too slow, didn't get any tickets. :( But that's ok, there's always Peep Show on Fri nite!

Call me ignoramus but even tho I know useless facts about them (like the fact that they met at Cambridge), I don't actually know which is which! Is Webb the lankier one? (a pure guess)

    Yep, thats him, bnkers ;)

I'd also like to add a special thanks to voodooray for another fantastic post full of lots of good movies. As has already been said, its a great venue, fab atmosphere (so long as it doesn't rain -:p although that's quite fun too;) ).

It's sad that we don't have many drive-ins in London but hey, we've got lots to look forward to this summer: the movies at the scoop and the schloer screenings. :j Yay!:j
