I would've agreed with you - until I saw About Schmidt! Not down to him tho', was the pace of the film that ruined that one - even if it was deliberate.

Oh well, shame he wasn't in Fast Food Nation!

What exactly are you doing? Do you have sources in Manchester or do you just get all the Manchester tickets as soon as they become available?
If so, why?, why not just leave them for first come first served?

Just gets a ticket for 1 or 2 people and fowards duplicates of the image to loads of others.

Incidentally, with regards to copies, I went to a Showcase screening a couple of weeks ago and the woman in the queue in front of me was turned away because her preview ticket "was NOT genuine". She left looking very flustered/embarassed.
The cinema was only half full at the time I went in to take my seat, it becoming 90%+ by the time the lights went down.
I was sitting right next to the door and the woman in question did not come back and get in for that screening !!!
