Just checked and only Bury left for 28 Weeks Later (on gobeyondscreen anyway) as per Hackeroonie's update yesterday evening on the Main Free cinema tickets thread.

I've missed out on London screening of this too - must've been too slow! :(
    I hope I didn't brain my damage...

    Hi folks,
This is my first time on this thread, so be gentle with me!
I've just tried to get tickets for Goodbye Bafana - went to the website, registered, but couldn't find the film - can anyone help?

Hey Jeanthelibraryqueen (are you?;) ), once you registered you should've been able to see the 'film screen' page with the available cinemas, tickets etc. It re-directed me straight away when I registered. Maybe try:

    http://www.gobeyondscreen.co.uk/

You should be able to pick Goodbye Bafana from the drop down menu.
Dunno if that helps? There are only 11 locations left now so be quick!
    I hope I didn't brain my damage...

I went to see it too, it was the slowest film I have ever seen, ok, I know it was supposed to be naturalistic cinema, but theres naturalistic and there's boring the hell off your audience by making them watch a ten minute long conversation, the scenes were FAR to looooooong!!

Wow, you obv haven't seen suicide-inducingly SLOW films like About Schmidt or Insomnia! Fast Food Nation is a rollercoaster ride compared to those. Have to agree, scenes are a bit long, lots of long 'meaningful' shots that don't add anything + overall important messages about corporate greed, animal rights, slave labour etc blurred by too much focus on the whole '1 man and his burger' thing. Ranch cattle seemed to have more life than the characters at times altho' Bruce Willis & Ethan Hawke provided a little spark. They must believe that the film's morals were worth putting their name against otherwise they wouldn't have done it.

It should be shown on TV as a thought-provoking drama not as a film on mainstream release. At least you can turn over then.

+what's the constant humping about? I'm convinced that was only there to keep people's interest. Obv didn't work! (bet that's got a few people curious anyway!:D )

Actually I quite enjoyed About Smidt, but then again, I would enjoy anything with Jack Nicholson in it, he is so great to watch and compels me every time, no matter how slow the film is!

There are still lots of tickets for 28 Weeks Later for May 8th.

Quite a few left for London as well. 18 in Acton, Croydon & Fulham, 16 in Islington etc.

To all of the people who are desperate for Wimbledon tickets, why not travel a little bit further to Fulham?
