  • Hi.. wanted to know if it is a good idea to have a gathering of people from this forum to meet each other at the cinema before screening.
We have been helping each other and I feel it would be good if we meet or even just say hello to all the nice users of this forum in our respective cities.

Please let me know your views.

    I doubt it now.

It's released this Friday. If I or the people on here don't know about it by now, I doubt there is any free previews.

Just as a footnote, there is a web sight called www.launchingfilms.co.uk

This a website which is run by the Film Distributors Association, basically the studios and uk distributors who release films. On this site is a list of all the films coming out on the current week and for the future.

I must add this is NOT a site for getting fee tickets to see the films, it's a listing site for films which are going to be released.

For instance, 'did you know' the release date for James Bond (called at present Bond 22) is 7th November, the next Harry Potter on 21st November 2008 and the 4th Indiana Jones on 22nd May 2008.

I noted there is even a film in the February 2009 slot!!:D

we got our tickets for Day Watch a month before the actual preview, they sent out lots moe codes nearer the time as DayWatch isn't that popular due to it being in Russian an'all! It's not really in the same popularity section as Resident Evil

Yes, you just turn up at the relevant cinema, usually 6ish for a 6.30 showing and hand over your print-out to the person taking tickets and in you go. Have a good time!:D
