we loved DayWatch we really enjoyed NightWatch though, I thought DayWatch had a lot more humour in it than NightWatch can't wait for Twilight/DuskWatch (whatever they will translate it as)

I am new to this forum and have joined all of the suggested free ticket sites but when I do receive notification from them it is invariably too late as all the tickets have gone by then. Therefore, I would like to thank all the people that take the trouble to post the relevant codes needed to access the free tickets. I have seen so many films over the past few months, so thanks again.

Can a mod clear the pointless messages in the main Free Cinema Tickets thread and explain the rules to the simpletons? I'm not going to clutter the main thread up with my moan, been biting my tongue for a long time.

  • Saw Daywatch last night at Liverpool - was about 85% full. Really enjoyed it - but might not be everyone's cup of tea. Great Special effects.

Really frustrating, I got a ticket for Stardust with the Impulse premier club, went along to the cinema, only to be told that it's all full! I know that they overbook to account for no-shows, but surely they could allocate tickets to some degree - i.e don't give out more invitations than there are seats? And many thanks to the person who posted the Control screening info last week, it's one of the best films I've seen all year!

Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j

Save your bum - seriously. HOW LONG IS THIS FILM......

“Stardust,” based on the best-selling graphic novel by Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess, takes audiences on an adventure that begins in a village in England and ends up in places that exist in an imaginary world. A young man named Tristan (Charlie Cox) tries to win the heart of Victoria (Sienna Miller), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. On his odyssey, Tristan finds the star, which has transformed into a striking girl named Yvaine (Claire Danes). However, Tristan is not the only one seeking the star. A king’s (Peter O’Toole) four living sons – not to mention the ghosts of their three dead brothers – all need the star as they vie for the throne. Tristan must also overcome the evil witch, Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer), who needs the star to make her young again. As Tristan battles to survive these threats, encountering a pirate named Captain Shakespeare (Robert De Niro) and a shady trader named Ferdy the Fence (Ricky Gervais) along the way, his quest changes. He must now win the heart of the star for himself as he discovers the meaning of true love. Copyright © 2007 by PARAMOUNT PICTURES. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

Incidentally, regarding STARDUST, JANE GOLDMAN is a half of the writing & screenplay team for this movie.

That's the wife of Jonathan Ross.
