If anyone has tickets for Death Proof showing in Milton Keynes and they no longer want them, I would very much appreciate the chance to go!
    Thanks

I saw Run Fat Boy Run last night too, typical British comedy, but very funny and had the whole cinema in stitches at times!

Pegg provides his usual slightly slapstick comedy and once more secures England on the comedy map.
  • So i decided to give up my tickets for last nights advanced screening showing for Superbad @ the Manchester Printworks.
I gave them to a colleague and opted to play footie.

    ABSOLUTELY GUTTED!

She just told me that the 3 main stars of the movie were all there for a Q&A session!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only that, but everyone in the theatre was also invited to an after party at a local club in the printworks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have got a couple of tickets for Monday night but can you dudes understand how gutted i actualluy am!?

Aww heck that's such a shame!! I've heard that things like that occasionally happen, the screening os Hot Fuzz has Q&A sessions with Pegg & Frost afterwards and I was gutted I missed out on that one.

We went to the printworks last night to see Superbad!!! OMG I can't believe someone gave their tickets away! the film was absolutely fantastic, everyone was laughing all the way through it!! It was absolutely brilliant!!

The ZOO ladies went down well with the men, and my other half, my brother in law and my sisters friends husband all had their photo's taken with them, actually my sister did as well! we got free drinks at the after party too!!

The Q&A was really good at the end with the 3 lads, I kind of felt sorry for them though as you could tell they where uncomfortable standing in front of everyone but it was really nice they where there! was a bit surreal too after just watching them on the big screen lol!!

Wish I could do it all over again tonight!!

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED GETTING A FEW CHILLIES TO RUB INTO MY WOUNDS ASWELL??? I CAN TAKE THE BAGS OF SALT YOU'VE ALREADY RUBBED IN.....HONEST!!

Glad you had a good time mate.

I was treated to something similar in America but the work colleague i gave them the tickets to, had a blast AND she also mentioned how the dudes were uncomfortable stood up in front of the crowd!

Did you all clap at the end?
  • awwwwww sorry, I am gutted for you too lol!

Everyone clapped at the beginning and end which was nice as the only other time I have seen that happen was a preview of one of the star wars films full of serious die hard fans! and it was good, a friend of mine was saying they do that a lot in America, but I wouldn't know as I have never been lol!

    Your friend is spot on.

I used to take the !!!! out of them when i heard that americans clapped during a movie and/or get peed off with them when they clapped whilst i watched a dodgy camera copy of a movie (back in the day)

However, when i lived there, and experienced this for the first time -

The movie ended and everyone got up and started making the "woo woo woo" dog types of noises and clapping - what do you think i was doing?

YOU DAMN RIGHT i was getting my woofs on! - i even added the famous Kris Akabussi arm action from "Record Breakers"

It only made the cinematic experience more worthy.
  • Still trying to get two tickets to see this film. No new code for it and still trying old code, in case more seats issued but no joy.

Does any one have tickets they don't plan to use?

    Thanks
