has anyone ever had a responce from SeeFilmFirst when you email to say you can't go? I emailed them as I accidently got tickets for the wrong cinema and then got right ones, so I emailed them and said I can't go... put the date and time of the film etc... then a couple of days ago I got a reminder for the film... so I emailed again saying I couldn't go with all the details! anyway I heard nothing back at all then today I got a email from them asking me to give feedback on the film!!!0

Quick Question:
Can you give the preview tickets to someone else? On the ticket i printed today it says i must take proof of identity?
Or do they just put that in there but dont bother checking?0 -
I've never been asked for any yet Clare but I take it just in case0

See officially you are not expected to give away your tickets to anyone and on the ticket they mention that proof of identity is required with the ticket. But then rules are rules which you can escape at your risk. I havent been asked for proof of identity anytime myself.
So there is no big deal if you give it to your friend and they go. Even if they ask (very exceptionally) they you can make some stupid excuse and get away.
The cinema hall owners are not loosing anything by this. They get some cola and popcorn sales instead. One Life .. Live It !!0 -

It really does flipping pee me off that you got a bent answer to this.
I wish people would just read the damn FAQ on seefilmfirst.
Doing so - you would realise that all you have to do is email SFF to their "changeofname" address and request that the tickets you have, be changed to a diffrent name.
They will send you and email back with:
Hello
Thank you for contacting us.
We have noted your name change, please print off this email and give to person using the ticket to take to the cinema.
To Cinema Manager: Please note that we have allocated two tickets to the bearer of this email on presentation of ticket, which will be in a different name.
It's always good to seefilmfirst.
And voila, you have successfully given your tickets away to another person.0 -
Saw RUN FAT BOY RUN last night.
Excellent film - I'd give it 9 out of 10, Very funny.
Well worth actually buying tickets for if you want to see it. (well on a Wednesday anyway)
Cinema probably between 80% and 90% full
