JD Sports 7 day refund policy is outrageous

It's not rational to assume one shops return policy based on other independant retailers imo.
It's like assuming two different pubs will have the same deals on steak on a certain night.0 -
So these 'chavy' friends shop in JD Sports? Like you did?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Wealdroam thank you for correcting. I was doing two things at one time - drying my hair/posting on the forum. Who said women can handle multi tasking??0

Yes, you CHOSE not to try before buying, you have no consumer rights to a refun just because you bought the wrong size. That's what changing rooms are for, not matter how much you dislike them.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
The OP should take the giftcard and........jog on!One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

If I were you I would be embarrassed about being so in the wrong and still trying to argue your case....this is a consumer rights forum and as for rights you have none. Don't bother wasting more of your time writing letters, it is completely pointless.
Jog on!Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Now that you have been advised that, in fact, JD are giving their customers rights over and above the statutory requirement you might consider changing the title of the thread? Or apologising to JD?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Thank you Honey Bear0 -

I completely agree but why would they take the advice of a bunch of JD employees...? :rotfl:Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

I once unwillingly used one at Sports direct and I was constantly worried that the security camera directly outside could see through the changing room I was in. Outside the cubicle there were more than 20 chavy lads queuing up at the till, holding football shirts and all. It didn't even have a full height door so they could obviously see there's me trying something on in the cubicle. I saw some of them looking towards me. It was a very traumatic experience...
I suggest the biggest issue here is your problems with using store fitting rooms. Had you tried the item on in store there would have been no problem.
Wht is it 'traumatic' that some people knew you were in a changing cubicle?
I suggest you find your nearest nudist beach/club/swim and go along, to get over your body acceptance issues.0
