It does happen, and a lot of people who contributed vast amounts of information on the technology (myself included) were very unhappy about it!

Of course. Even the best products have some negative reviews about certain aspects. It is to be expected and a person will still buy the product and can tell if the criticism is reasonable or too heavy handed.

MSE never made a comment, the posts just disappeared. If you scan back through this thread you will likely see the gaps and complaints.

EDIT: Look on page 7 and you will find MSE's post which mentions us being critical of Fischer and possibly libellous.

I thought forums were the perfect place to be critical, MSE disagree.

There should be no reason to be fearful of being critical if it saves one person from being bullied, which is what is happening with Fischer.
I have nothing to gain from my remarks, and am not a competitor. I was hoping this site was open and fair to the little person. I will be happy to go to court, with witnesses to stand behind my observations of this company.

Someone please tell me why this site is afraid of court action from companies such as Fischer, if the reviews are unbiased and truthful? If critical reviews are removed, you may just as well read the reviews on the company's web site. As long as the reviews are not malicious, any criticism is of value to the next customer.

I have consistently and fearlessly posted my truth, many of my posts and parts of posts have been made to disappear, others still remain and yet I continue to post my truth. The MSE Investigations Team were tasked with handling complaints from lawyers representing Fischer Future Heat UK Limited ("Fischer") around the last month of 2013, as far as I'm aware there has been no legal activity by MSE or Fischer Future Heat UK Limited since December 2013.

Ah, Richie, thanks. I also do not have chat. What is PM? I just did not want to take up this thread on something off course. BTW I enjoy your posts. I just found this site since my Fischer visit, which I reviewed accurately. I am concerned because I think they are aiming at the elderly who are afraid of high heating bills and are using technological jargon to tell them they are saving money. As you can see in one of my posts, I reposted the experience of an engineer whose elderly father was visited by Fischer. Of course companies want us to buy their products, and indeed we do have to buy products to keep us warm, but there is a way and there is a way.

I would like to say that one highly determined 'engineer' salesperson was at fault in the Fischer visit, however, that does not explain the absence of any written material, specifications, pricing and info regarding payments and cancellation terms, necessary to fair trading.
