Hi LG
Glad your ok, but remember that infected glands can make you very very tired, and rest is needed to recover.
You could be sneaky and use the infection to avoid anything you can't afford to attend over the next 2 weeks? Or if you go out, you can stick to soft drinks?

Your day out sounds fantastic. We went bowling on our last day out!!!!
Congratulations on hitting the 41% with just 2 payments until you're half way. Wow. That came around fast. x
Sorry didn't mean to worry!! I was worrying myself, I do have an over active imagination!
I love bowling! It was great fun, I do have some cracking bruises from the obstacle courses where I went a bit gung ho!
ThanksYes it seemed so far away when i began but looking back it has gone so quick, I hope the next 50% goes as well too! x

Not spent a penny today, as planned. I have arranged to have drinks tomorrow with a friend but might invite him over here instead and I can cook and open some wine...
Walked half the way home today along the thames as it was such a nice evening then got the tube the last bit.
I got an email today from the guy who runs our local rugby club, his au pair who is lovely and also works as the barmaid was attacked at gun point last night, she managed to get away but broke and dislocated her ankle quite badly and was operated on today. Scary stuff. Going to save £10 from my budget to go and see her on Saturday and take her some things to cheer her up. I don't know her very well but all her family live abroad - she's eastern european - so she might appreciate some company
Me and S at work are really struggling to cope with our workload, since we moved over away from our old boss, J, and it really is a 3 person job but its half year end next week and that equals more work! We've both said we'll work until at least 8 every night next week apart from Friday and see how we get on. Even more reason to rest hard this weekend, illness is not an option!!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Morning all,
Last night I subscribed to the NSD challenge for July again to keep me on track, as per my sig I am aiming for 10 starting Sunday!
Drinks tonight, hoping to not spend too much or re-locate to my place to make it very cheap!

Erme, that cake looks lush!!!!
Thanks Lil!
So last night my friend had to cancel on me for drinks which was a shame as I was looking forward to seeing him but it sounds like he was in a bit of a mess about something, him and his gf are having problems so I wonder if it was something to do with that. He said he'd call me next week to explain it wasn't something he could tell me over email.... cryptic!
So I went to the pub with my colleagues after work and it just worked out that I didn't spend a penny which was great, drinks appeared in front of me without being offered which was very kind but I did drink too much and feel dreadful today!
Today has been spendy, had lunch with a friend where I thought I could use tastecard to get BOGOF but they didnt accept it on Saturday so it cost about £12 then I bought some bits from the supermarket which was £7. My flatmates want to go to the pub tonight, Im leaning more towards an early night and no booze!!!
Tomorrow is the 1st July so the NSD counting will start, no plans tomorrow so hopefully it will be easy to not spend.

Following the NW Ccard being paid off from next month. I am then going to call NW and PO and get my direct debts altered to:
NW Loan from £104.79 a month to £150 a month
PO C Card from min payment £85 (this month) to £400 a month
So that'll be paying off £550 a month still and should get rid of the PO C Card before the 0% runs out.
The NW Loan is fixed interest so even if I pay early I still pay the same interest so no point in paying that one first.
Hey London Girl, have never posted to your diary but I do follow it, I understand how difficult it can be to keep a balance between having a social life and debt busting!
Just wanted to say from what you posted above that you would be better off leaving your loan dd the same and increasing the credit card one. If you dont save any interest by paying early then there is no point in doing so.
Or if you dare, just work out how much you need to pay per month to clear the PO 0% by the time it finishes and save it in the meantime and just pay the minimum. Keep the £104 towards the loan the same and save anything extra you can afford to pay. You can still offset the savings against the debt for spreadsheet purposes (I know how important this is for goals) but at least this way you will at least be earning a little interest on it.
Does that make sense? You seem organised enough to be able to manage it and its better in your pocket than theirs!
Good luck and well done so far!0
