Hi LG, it's a bit of a shame about the flat in one way but I think you've made a good choice: in fact the up and coming repayment figures show what else can be done with the money.
Besides, you and your FM get on (I think! From what you say...) and that counts for a lot.
I hope the doctor's visit goes well. Always best to check on lumps even if it's nothing significant. Let us know how it goes.
Hi
Thanks, totally right. When I re-did my figures with higher rent, the debt just takes so much longer to get down and it really doesn't make sense to pay dead money to a landlord and take longer to pay off debt...
Yes I get on with one better than the other but overall its a good houseshare (Ive lived with MUCH worse!)
Thanks I will post when I get backSantander 0% £1,529.94

DD's neck lumps turned out to be swollen salivary glands due to an infection: I didn't even know the salivary glands went there! There are all sorts of possibilities so try not to worry.Miggy

Hi
So sorry I completely got caught up in work after the docs then forgot to come back on!
Exactly the same as Miggy's DD, Ive a slight infect and they're swollen glands! Phew! Took her 20 seconds to have a feel and put my mind to rest.
Was out of the office all day yesterday on our half year seminar, spent 4 hours in a dark room listening to presentations ... some better than others then off we went outside to do "Its a Knockout" style games ... imagine inflatable obstacle courses, lots of foam and a bunch of city types bouncing all over the place. Lots of fun, very tired today! They did put on drinks at a bar afterwards which I did go to but I was so tired I couldnt even make the most of the free bar! Spent no money and had a great day.
I have printed out a calendar of the month to carry with me and have marked the days I need to spend no money in order to be able to afford to live this month.
I currently have £50 in my purse left over from the £70 I withdrew on Monday, I am having drinks tomorrow after work and the £50 has to last me until Wednesday next week so if I blow it all tomorrow then I have to have 5 no spend days.
My card is firmly back in the draw at home to get back into the habit of not relying on it.
Right, horribly busy day today going to crack on and try and catch up on your diaries at lunch, Im not doing well with forum time right now!
I'll update siggy quickly too as loan DD has gone out now!Santander 0% £1,529.94

And look at you... 41% and counting...Brilliant.

I'm so pleased to hear it was just gland issues LG and that all is good. I think you worried a few of us, but all sorted now.
Your day out sounds fantastic. We went bowling on our last day out!!!!
Congratulations on hitting the 41% with just 2 payments until you're half way. Wow. That came around fast. x0 -
