I have learned they are VERY slow. It's not a short term investment!

Just had a phone call from Mum, she's just landed in the UK this morning. Asked me to help her buy herself an iPad, and that SHE WANTS TO BUY ME ONE TOO. Wooohooo! Sorry to hijack... just a little bit excited to say the least!

I've just logged on and my £50 Post Office payment has finally confirmed!! So Im having £52.18 sent to me in the next payment run! This month is going VERY well MSE wise!!

Ahhh amazing!!!! that's so nice of her!!! When are you going shopping!!! Thats so exciting!!!

  • It says on my front page "52.18" to be paid to you in the next payment run

But then on the payments page it says no payments are scheduled... have you had this? Is there a way of finding out when they pay?

Yay! What you going to do with the extra bit? See what I said about the bits and pieces that start flying in when you start looking for them?!

I don't know, she's here for the birth of my next niece/nephew which is imminent, so probably sometime after all that excitement dies down. I might wait until they release the next model.

  • Blimey, long term investment indeed! Hope they really are paying me my £50 soon!!

My Santander loan DD went out this morning so thats another £148.96 off the total this month, will update siggy.

I did put off the grocery shop today so yesterday was NSD15! A record for me! I have set myself a target of 14 for Feb.

Tonight is dinner with girls I used to work with, we picked a pizza restaurant that takes tastecard so hoping to come in under a tenner, then I'll go home via Mr S and pick up the food bits I need with whatever is left from my £20 note.

My FM was out for drinks last night and won a 7 night all inc holiday to Egypt. Lucky cow. I'm a bit ashamed to say I was pleased to be in bed before she got in as although I'm very happy for her, it made me just feel a bit bleaugh. Anyway, over it this morning :) Debt busting is my mission and mission it shall be! Holidays come after debt and it will be all the more enjoyed for having saved up for it myself

Lovely to see that percentage in your signature creeping up!

Wow, your FM is lucky! I do hope she has a great time but all the same your moment of envy is very understandable. :) However your time will come - you will be so good with money once you reach 100% that it will take very little time to save for hols.
