I'd say buy the bag! I spent £200 on a Modalu Pippa before Christmas, saved through various vouchers, points vouchers and birthday money - and I love it :j As others have said when you are on a long debt journey like we are you have to have a few treats along the way or you will just start to resent everything and go on a mad splurge :mad:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

Hi all,
Nice weekend back home. Just got back. Today was NSD no 13! Sold 3 items on ebay tonight which is good totalling about £18 inc their postage costs.
Just going to whack all that on the c card when the paypal transfer arrives - awaiting one payment - as I think the budget is looking OK this month.
OK coming week plan:
Monday - Nothing planned - NSD
Tuesday - Pick up groceries £10 budget - need bread, beans, tuna
Wedensday - Dinner with friends £10 as we always use voucher and don't drink
Thursday - Drinks with work friends, budgeted £25
Friday - No plans - NSD
Saturday - No plans - NSD
Sunday - Meeting friend for drink £10Santander 0% £1,529.94

Honeypie... you are on a budget... not dead! You can't go the next three years without anything nice! Its not a frivolous purchase, the money was unexpected. You are talking about taking less than 15% for a small one off treat for yourself. You have to spend the voucher anyway. 85% of the windfall is going off your debt. I think you can guiltlessly buy the bag.
Having clawed my way back from ~20k debt I'm a firm believer that you need some small treats every now and again to make th sacrifices worthwhile. If you don't have the treats, you are likely to end up falling off the wagon completely and blowing out.
The key is to ensure that your overall debt is going down significantly, which you are still doing.
I tell ya though... when you are debt free you owe me a bottle of champers! I feel like I've pointed you in the direction of a tonne of money saving now
Nope I think you and LG should have a serious girlie spa weekend away (all on LG) when she is Debt free LOL...
Champers? Golly you're cheap tee hee.....
Anyhow off to update my diaryNot positive (Well semi)
