Ha, Ha, Celebrate - that sounds like me.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I get in a right flap at checkouts at the best of times and my face goes even redder than it normally is. I'm usually too busy trying to pack to notice the price of things as they go through.

Was it 'our' churchy town centre store that had the 49p cereal? If so, have you seen any 4p clothes in there?

I'll be popping in there in the next day or two to get a xmas tree and return some clothes.

    Take care.

G'night all. Wish the forum wasn't shutting early (for me anyhow) ............

yes sel was 49p, i left some on the shelf, hope they restock for you overnight x

i got some of the black and grey diamond ladies tights for 4p but nothing else xx
i have to watch myself in there, there's a lady manager with dark black hair really pretty who caught me with the jelly /custard glitch -most of the managers know me and the ginger haired guy on the SS HATES me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:;);););) I love winding him up!

Ps I went on a mission to Sheff**d afterwards and i have some pukka pads for you -left plenty!!!!(but only if you want them xx) my pm box is full will eventually get round to emptying it, let me know when your next in:A

ps no DJ hero for me, didn't look in our locals but tried the new store in sheff**ld and couldn't even find it, kids were playing merry hell by then so just left it

beki may I ask which store you got yours from -was it the one beg with W???

ihstress-i have a couple of items to return as well

on the invoice sheet you get with the goods for some reason they itemise the discount onto each item, for example i bought a pair of trainers that were £10 but on the invoice it says they are £5.60

so if you took them back not sure if you would get the £10 or £5.60

has anyone else tried to refund -when I last read the T&C's it did say they do take account of any coupons/discounts

I may just try for an exchange with mine

I don't mind getting the actual discounted price I paid refunded - I'm just concerned about what I actually end up paying for the items I keep.

Don't think they have them in the town centre store to exchange (plus my son not really keen on keeping them)

Here is the 'blurb' from Tesco:

Not sure at the moment but just seen a post on HDUK that it will be 25 when you buy selected points or membership, I think last year they did it with 2100 points. Sainsburys are doing it for 28.99 when you spend 30, And best buy are doing it for 29.99 tuesday only.

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

    Hey Cherniacha

    Lovely to meet you!!

Oh yep, I'm guessing you've encountered the Trouts I have too, breed of their own they are!!

Monday, well I was in on Monday collecting a clothing order, some v young girl on CS Desk obviously felt inconvenienced having to look for my order and wasny too pleasant. Had had a look at PJ's (mens) but wasn't sure how I'd find out the price, didnt wanna CS desk them as previous posts suggest they'll refuse to sell them to me......was it the ones marked up at £4.00????? Ran onto not so QUIET WATER tonight on way home but had two children in tow so couldn't look at toys (damn, need bb annabell) but no nivea deodorant or cereal multi-packs.

    Thanks

    Sandi x

I only got the pjs because they were mentioned here the "try by day score by night" ones ;) got two pairs of tights too... didn't try anything else as no scanner... sometimes I ask a young guy at a till to check the price but it's hard without a scanner... I got dtd on megablocks in the E one ages ago with no problem but they aren't the nicest ones...
L*water is really rubbish with ood sels on phones ;) and they usually give dtd without asking or just with a gentle reminder ;) but if I went there with another dtd on phones they'd think we eat them for dinner! :rotfl:

Hope the info below on baby annabell will help, thanks mE :T

For Pete's sake folks, slow down, I failed my speed reading exam, I can't keep up . Only joking :D I'm having to use the search to find first posts about bargains - I'm missing quite a few, but I've managed to find lots of 4p socks, 2 Welsh RU world cup scarves, and a blue beanie, and the caps. No PJs, no tents, no bed guards, Halloween stuff was £2 but I bought it anyway as my DS is doing lots of work with bats, and the outfit was a bat costume for his daughter for next year. Last week I bought a scarf with big £1 stickers on it (which I was happy to pay) and a handwritten barcode pasted on. It went through till at £3, the SA noticed the sticker but I talked him out of changing it by saying I'd go to CS! Anyway barcode wasn't for the scarf, so CS girl typed in BC on label and it came up as 4p, not £1. She gave me £2.96 back, but I mentioned DTD, and she gave it to me! £5.92, so made a profit. Hope I find something worthwhile tomorrow, even OH is becoming interested.
  • Evening all, just back from a nice evening meal at Prezzo Leicester. On the way back we popped into hamilton and found 9 pantene shampoos, 2 lounge bottoms and 8 pairs of jeans. Tried the big one at beaumont but they close the upstairs at 10pm and despite us having a moan, they wouldn't let us up. I might email philip clarke and have a whinge as it seems ridiculous to have a 24 hour store that closes half of it at 10pm. Seems a popular thing for stores with upstairs to do these days :(

Not sure when I am going exactly, yet but thanks.

i got some of the black and grey diamond ladies tights for 4p but nothing else xx

I'll have to look out for them now - only really notice the checkout assistants and two of the CS ladies.

Ps I went on a mission to Sheff**d afterwards and i have some pukka pads for you -left plenty!!!!(but only if you want them xx) my pm box is full will eventually get round to emptying it, let me know when your next in:A
That's really kind of you. I never really know when I'm going to be in though - so feel free to give them to your family/friends

ps no DJ hero for me, didn't look in our locals but tried the new store in sheff**ld and couldn't even find it, kids were playing merry hell by then so just left it
Doubt they'll have any in mine but will look out for it. They've had a change round though now

beki may I ask which store you got yours from -was it the one beg with W???

I might just end up returning ALL my clothes order. It will be less complicated. Oh well, on to the next glitch.

Mines between £600 - £800 a quarter, highest one ever was nearly £1200:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: That's when OH had all the xmas lights on!

My gas and electric is about £30 a quarter but I'm as tight as a ducks !!!!! so I wrap up in blankets rather than put the heating on, also I never have the lights on, just use the light from the laptop screen.

DS has just walked into my office (It's at home!!) with his 4p pyjamas on and commented that their comfy but he wouldnt let his friends see him in them:rotfl: He's another one that puts his jimmys on the minute he gets home. Can't put mine on yet as I have a bit of shopping to do;););)and I'm not even testing the choccie glitch, it permanently feels like xmas in my house with all the chocolate about and I am just rubbish at resisting it!

I sleep naked but when I get up I put my jammys on, when I go out I change in to jeans and a t shirt, get home back in to my jammys.
Happychappy, its a well known fact that untreated ear problems result in your manhood falling off, so if you don't want me turning up in my purple tights, grabbing your ear between thumb and forefinging, twisting it and leading you off to the nearest quacks like a naughty schoolboy, you'd better get yerself down to the docs pronto! :)

That's alright, it doesn't get much use anyway, through choice that is. :)
