Czerniacha good luck with your interviews, hope you find a good job soon :)

Sunshine sorry you still haven't found your money, hope it just pops out from somewhere to give you a nice surprise :)

Happy glad you finally went to the drs, hopefully you'll be on the mend sooner rather than lol.

evening all! only had chance to skim read today

can't believe the time, only just got in and sat down:mad::mad: from swimming lessons then fireworks display......:) was worth it though:)

so thank the Lord HappyChappy has finally seen sense:T:T:T ....if only so we have a bit of peace and quiet on the thread lol:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

any update with the lost money from sunshine star?

so if any of you are still up fancy a giggle at my shenanigans today??

went on a kellog's variety hunt today.....

nipped to the town store before work...yep sel 49p took 8 packs left 4

busy at work so phoned my sis to try small store at the other side of town, she got a few but was too embarrassed to get too many sel also marked rtc 49p

then after work this afternoon thought i'd try the local extra store....SEL £2.09, thought no problem, this is a nationwide glitch they are 49p everywhere (OOPS:eek:) put 10 in my trolley.......off to the socks....found a reduced sock rail.... some best dad socks single pack and a multipack and a few other feel fresh ones all marked ss11 thought yipee my luck is in (self scanner out of action by the way)

anyway planned to go to SS till but an old trout who watched me scan quite a few dodgy 4p items and has "watched" me with the jelly glitches was on them, so decided to go to a young lad on a normal manned till.

No other shopping 5 pairs socks and 10packs kellog's variety, bill £30:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

errrrr hang on i says how much were the socks, the last one was defo full price so asked him to put that back -excuse "sorry think I've spent too much", then I had a couple of very bright ones also scanned full price-asked him to put those back as well, excuse "oh actually think those will be too bright for him can i put those back",

then he tells me the total again £20:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

errrrrr hang on again, checked the receipt kellogs variety gone through at £2.09:eek::eek::eek: so now looking very embarrassed ask him to just cancel the whole transaction-he looks t me like I am totally mental. Excuse "think I looked at the wrong label sorry thought they were on offer".

At this point he says well now I'll have to call a supervisor, damn:mad::mad::mad::mad: anyway pleaded stupidity with the supervisor who was very nice and just cancelled the whole lot......lovely queue building up behind me as well.( Kids playing up screaming "mummy we want the little cereals:mad::mad::mad:)

So two pairs of socks remaining, I say to him, ok just put these through again I'll just have these (totally confident that the single and multiple pack of greatest dad socks will both be 4p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
    Total £3.04:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

"ok errrr hang on can I just cancel one pair of socks please?" SA is close to creasing up now...."which one he asks?" "the £3 one" I reply.

So end transaction one single pair of best dad socks 4p

I walked off saying to the SA don't blame me it's the recession! Blame David Cameron :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Don't think he'll be forgetting me in a hurry:A
