So here is my day!
At T's I got a couple more pairs of 4p socks and boxers, the purple tights went through at full price, so i will return those tomorrow.:p
The dressing gowns had aw11 on them so didn't try.
The shelf where the beans should be was bare for the second day running, but then spotted a cage in the aisle with just three packs left in a tray, so WHOOOSH and into my trolley they went and yes £2.:D
No frozen bargains thank goodness as I can't get anything else in the freezer!:)
But here comes the highlight of my day!
I have put a reserve on a dog at our local RSPCA.:j
She is the sister of our youngest dog (we have two other rescue dogs), whom we got as a puppy from the RSPCA two years ago.
The mother was rescued from a puppy farm and gave birth to 10 pups at the centre.
This new dog has been a bit neglected and has had no training, so will be a bit of a handful, but when she met her brother today all went well, and I think she will settle in very quickly .
She and her brother are bloodhound x dalmation!
So please could we have a dog food glitch!!:rotfl:
Sorry to ramble on, but I am so excited.:)
How lovely. :T:T If you look at my avatar and forum name you'll see I have a Dalmatian too! She was a rescued from the breeder who was going to have her destroyed as she had a cleft palate.
She was in a bit of a sorry state when we had her, but that was 7 years ago, and she has turned out to be an absolute darling.
We couldn't wish for a better dog. She adores people and is brilliant with children especially.
You must put some pics up. Never seen one crossed with a bloodhound before.....and let me know if you want a recipe for liver cake. Purdy loves it and it's great for training them
And yes....we need some dog food glitches!!My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Artha, I think you fit in here quite well now as we've got used to your little quirks and occasional contraversial posts about things that you obviously feel passionate about. You are now officially a member of the "Elite11" club and I have a feeling that if we had a toast to that you would be on the port or fine red wine;);)
Thanks. Means a lot.:j Does that mean I can now have a few controversial/thought provoking moments without people thinking I'm just trying to wind people up?;) (as long as it's on Tesco related themes of course - I'll keep my discussions on the state of the economy, pensions etc elsewhere)Awaiting a new sig0 -

have you checked your freezer last time i lost money it was in there no idea why i put it there though i hope it turns up soon
You don't think you could have put it on the roof of the car whilst strapping the children in, and driving off do you?
I did that once with my daughter's favourite teddy, realised pretty quickly, but someone had pinched it by the time I got back.
Have you checked that it's not been handed in to the Police? My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
My MIL went to T's the other day looking for the bed guards and phoned to say that she got some but they were £3.** When she gave me them, they were not the Lindam ones but 'Summer' Double Bed Rails (has 2 sides to it). They hadn't been on the shelf but when she asked, the woman took them from through the back. Thinks this is a new one.
HTH
i remember seeing these in September when the crazy prices began...but didnt need a double one so left them...then when ifound out about the 60p ones i thought i should get one quick before they all sold out!! but seems theres bits and bobs still around all over the place....god how i'd love to have a nosey 'out the back' or in the warehousehoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

As long as it's not too heavy;) Most of us I think use this thread for a bit of escapism and light relief, and obviously to save money:)
Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
