I bought a pack of T Value bacon the other day and it was £1.44 yet two days earlier I paid 75p.
No, cooking bacon is next to the value bacon, but is a bit of randomness.
It is in similar packs to the value bacon, but is cheaper.
You don't know if your getting smoked or non smoked, and the bacon can be all shapes and sizes, different thicknesses etc.
It is basically the bits that they messed up in the slicing machine so can't sell as rashers.
But if you pick through the packs, you can see which ones look like they have decent sized rashers with not too much fat and can avoid ones where the bacon is in lumps.
I try to avoid the ones with brown on the rind/fat end as I think that is the signs the bacon is smoked and prefer it plain.0 -

I just want to clear something up from yesterday...
kt26 is my sister and when I replied to her post I was just out of bed (several hours too early for me), I had a splitting headache and I was running late for picking mum up from the airport so when I quickly read her post, to me I felt like she was a bit blunt.
Sorry if I offended anyone....0 -

Made me laugh...I like your thinking.
Sorry for long post last night guys, just felt so mad
I still haven't quite decided if it is worth an email to the big guys, but I will probably let this one slide and see if I bump into the cs lady again. Then I can spot her name and observe her wonderful customer service skills. But to be fair, maybe she was just having a bad day, not my fault though if she was.
Anyway might be in for another fight at T's today, as I have noticed the post on grabbit about fifa 12, which my OH is buying today. Just need to figure out the best deal, but 2 x fifa 12 for £45 sounds good, then he has one to sell, trade, gift...whatever.
Think i'll pass on the prunes...sounds awful...lol
Hope you have a good party :j
I have to go out today to find a gift for a silver anniversary party that we are going to tonight...ideas anyone? i can only think of a silver photo frame...tia0 -

Sorry for the poor picture quality but I couldn't find it on the Tesco website.
In D4N3ST0N3 these have a SEL of £4. Bargain as they are usually more expensive.
Handy for all you people that spend all day at T's on your phone checking this thread0 -
