Anyway the letter states my car number plate, dates and times of both times Ive gone over the 3 hour time scale, the letter states "Unfortunatly should it happen again it may result in you receiving a parking charge notice"...:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I said he would contact HO... but is it worth me contacting our dear Phillip myself, as I went to another Tesco last monday, and it was 50 miles from home, so I had coffee and lunch there too, and Im just about sure Ive gone over the 3 hr limit...

I think the essence is here, that you haven't as yet been charged with parking too long, but that they raelise you have done so.

Often supermarket car parks do have parking structures/time limits, in force, and usually controlled by an outside company.

I think here, you are fortunate to have just been advised. My local Aldi has a 90minute limit, and yes, went over once by 4 minutes, and got a parking charge.

Just take care of how long you are somewhere and If that stores parking has a time limit imposed. Not all will limit parking.

OMG, my brain hurts... just got back to the broadband issue again and I'm no wiser! :(

called sky but he said he can't give me the 6 months half price promotion over the phone...? Idiots...

will cal O2 tomorrow to see what they can offer...

the landlord said the current tenants are with Virgin so I take it there MUST be a phone line or am I wrong? grr...

Sorry it's been a while since I looked into broadband...... from memory though I phoned each company numerous times and got offered different deals each time/each rep until I found one I liked! I was still in contract with BT so I needed just broadband rather than phone and BB etc,I am with O2 BB and very happy with them) if i was looking now I would be looking at taking out a package of phone & BB. Some broadband only providers depend on you having a BT line at the property so make sure you check the cost of that out before commiting. (BT representative on the tech forums helped me lots at the time)call BT to check if line into property then check tech forum for cheapest way to reinstate if u decide to go with BT phone line.

I think if they are on virgin broadband then the phone will also be virgin and probably the TV all in one deal. Dont forget to add on the cost of the phone line rental to any deal they offer you .

    sorry if I waffled...

Could anybody help me please? When you use your bank statement to return things does it have to be just for that exact amount? i.e. if I wanted to return something that cost £30 but my bank statement says £75. Also do they always accept a bank statement as proof?
no i used mine today to return 2 copies of tangled costing £29 odds but amount on statement was £43.90

My reduced toys were cancelled last night. My reduced irons were cancelled tonight. I had a phone call from Tesco saying that they've sent me e-mails for money off my next on line shopping. I've just checked and they have sent me £30 worth of vouchers. Result!

    result !

WOW, I just have to say I love the 'new' hidden thread.... I found it almost straight away when it started, as I always followed..... occationally posted...... and probably just lurked far too much on the previous one....

Anyway, you lot have kept me smiling over the last few days whilst struggling, but keeping going suffering with 'Mum flu'.... this is unlike 'Man flu', when the world just has to stop turning until full recovery.... :p

I'm feeling slightly better tonight, brain just about functioning enough to type... so here I am, hoping i'll be well enough to drag myself to Mr T.s in the morning with the pdf document I just found on the electricals thread.... it may well be here too, but I've not read back too far here yet!

Well it looks like i've waffled enough, but I have to finish by saying a massive THANKYOU to everyone posting all the useful, and not so useful but very amusing stuff on these forums! :T:T:T To you all!
