    Evening everyone,

Not sure if this one has been missed posted by Addy on Food, groceries & shopping board.

Coke 16 cans £1.50, 8 packs £2.69 but in 2 for £1.50 offer like 4 packs of other soft drinks. (Just editing as didn't realise in my tiredness that it's Ts own brand coke and soft drinks in the offer. Oops!)

Anyone tried it or have we all been too busy getting smarties etc. :D

Sorry not getting much time to read and post with OH away, finding it easier to feed mum and DD3 at my mums but no computer access there. Running a bit ragged, actually missing him. Roll on sunday I wonder if he will get past the smarties, actually didn't get that many, but was back out the door for some Kit Kats but none to be found. And tried normal Aeros earlier as had not read properly it was mint ones anyway receipt says 5 pack but have only got 4 pack!

Must go lots to do and bed is beckoning, even though empty. ;)

The knifes are £25 per set and some have the 3 for 2 red circular sticker on em still.

Not going through. Pay £75 get £50 DTD. £25 for all 3 sets. They are in an upright black knife block.

Quoting these from earlier as I am just reading back......

Erm..... maybe at my most local, new manager is pretty on the ball, :( but they aren't at a certain other one of my locals :) .... at 9pm I popped past to get my Mums neighbour some smarties because store near Mums had sold out, and got more 8 Aero bars as my D teenage S actually tells me he likes them...... He doesn't really do chocolate, shame, coz the house is full of it. :D This was also the last store I found that had TCO's.

Happychappy, did you get Smarties & Aeros??

Nah I'm stuck at mums in the back of beyond. Nearest T's is 15 miles away and nearest express (off the top of my head) is in Aberdeen which is 30 miles away.

I'm supposed to be on a diet so I'm quiet glad I couldn't get any. :)

Some people were asking about JTD for the wine offer. Well here's my post from yesterday on that thread. A local MSEer has confirmed that the wine does compare and another MSEer has said it compared at the best rate so less than £2/bottle:

No idea if this one price matches (other Gallos have in the past) but:

    Gallo Merlot Rose (750ml)
    T: £6.29
    A: £6.46 BUT 3 for £10

    6 bottles in T = 6 * 6.29 = 37.74 - 25% = 28.31
    6 bottles in A = 2 * (3 for 10) = 20

If the same glitch works as last time (comparison done against full price in Ts and not with the 25% off) then you'd get back £17.74 in JTD having only paid £28.31 so £1.76 per bottle. 2nd worst case you get the £8.31 JTD and pay £3.33 per bottle (almost half price). Worst case scenario it doesn't compare and knowing Ts, this is the more likely scenario.
