Firstly.... yeh, the expected stack of Smartie tubes and bars of Aero!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Other items......
    Express store petrol station -
Interior screen wipes packet RTC 25p
Wheel wash, plastic spray bottle RTC 37p

    Express store -
75 biodegradable nappy sacks 31p - Yellow pack, Much more smelly than the value ones!

    Normal Mr T -
Slumberland 4.5 double quilt £2.25.... in black cloth/clear plastic bag. (previously reported, local store was re-stocked since yesterday)
12 'Party' white candle holders 5p

Then my best 2 of the day....
Pack says, Long sleeve loungewear (although it's a T-shirt!) white top blue long bottoms, top says 'Try by day, Score by night' £1
Loungewear bottoms, these are blue and white cheque and have an elastic waistband that says 'Premium Apparel' 4p

Not sure if these prices will be the same if you find these items in an Extra, but may be worth a try.....

Not a bad day me thinks!!!

T's compare the whole shopping, not just individual items.

Oh Smarties! I must start looking at this tread earlier on a tuesday! They would have been fab for prizes at our School Christmas fair! Just persuaded my OH to go down to our local express just in case, he says the mint aeros are still on the double offer, but no smarties in sight:(

Went to our extra store earlier, no 8p casserole dishes, no stairgates, no magic sand or anything, AND i forgot my 50/50 and plenty vouchers...:(, Im a lightweight when it comes to organised bargains:o
  • Well done to everyone who managed to get deals today :D Unfortunately didn't manage to get to a T's today, plus we don't have an express near us so missed out on the Smarties and Aero's. Just making up a list of things to look for tomorrow, only going to my local Metro so don't expect to find too much.

Also don't know if anyone has seen this but a list of some of the B1G2F deals starting tomorrow has been posted on HUKD http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/buy-1-get-2-free-deals-tesco-shower-gels-1044554

Think I might be coming home with some shampoo and shower gel :)

Thank you for that. Another question if I may!
If for instance I bought the six bottles of wine that were more expensive at Tesco and qualified for say £10 JTD on this....would they then deduct from this £10 if the rest of the shopping was cheaper in Tesco than Asda. What I mean is that if it was just the wine that was cheaper in Asda because it's part of their 3 for £10 should I pay for those 6 bottles seperately, so I get the 25% off as well as the price match?
    Blimey....I'm confusing myself now:D

Exactly right - the whole basket is compared.

So it pays to divide the shopping up into different transactions, ie one lot where Mr T is more expensive, a second lot where Mr T is cheaper.
