Here is a review of the AH530. Not the same model, but they remark on the build quality. The spec is good for when it comes to connectivity. So on paper, a good value for money machine. Hope she likes it.

Comet also sell this range, so if you choose not to open her present, you can possibly see one in their store.

Have gone for http://www.ebuyer.com/283159-fujitsu-lifebook-ah530-laptop-vfy-ah530mrsc2gb in the end. Looks the same as the one from dabs but has the i3 processor (which I'm told is significantly better).
Still comes with the cool stuff inbuilt like webcam and bluetooth! And a free bag, which is nice though probably won't really be used.

Will see how we get on with Open Office, but will probably go for the Viglen Microsoft download eventually.

    Slightly miffed at this, though...

To me that means free next day delivery.
    But it's not!

I'd would advise you look into places such as dell or ebuyer.
As per my post #44, I have gone to ebuyer!

I looked at Dell, but they were just a little more money than I was looking to buy.

You should not have bothered to reply. It's just a spammer looking to build their post count, prior to posting their spamming links.

They should be reported and washed away. Both lelindaelizabeth and barbara.sandra25
